Finding the historic sword would be a great plot device!! Perhaps tied into some political intriuge in England, with Shaw making another appearance???

See that is what I was thinking about. And he would just happen to find the sword in time to save his life. I would even like to see it as a sub plot not to mean anything but to be cool.

Not a bad idea marribiuz! :) but let's have scotland become independent. my idea for a CC novel involves a returning space ship from mars coming into the atmosphere just as an earthquake alters the west coast turning las vegas into a port city and the space ship disappears in the sky, actually going back in time. and at the same time dirk discovers some archaeological mystery beneath Nevada as he stumbles on an underground sea beneath Nevada.
