The model is scratch build like a canoe using 2,54 - 10,16 cm (1 - 4 in) bass wood strips and then covered with fiberglass.

The Commander-in-Chief in the photographs below is William Terra.
William Terra would like to see more models build in this scale.

That is really awesome. I could totally cruise around on a little lake in one of those. Now if only you could get one of the rear turrets to fire out some trolling lures.

Can anyone tell how the driver can see to steer the thing? It looks like he's facing the main superstructure with no good window to see through.

Very, very cool. Now we just need an Exeter, Achilles and Ajax to keep the Graf Spee well behaved! :P

Looks like some of the superstructure is see through, Erik.

I just remembered that we have a lot of really old comic books up at my cabin. Things like Donald Duck, Yogi Bear, and other Hanna Barbara cartoons. Anyway, there is an advertisement in the back cover of one for your very own rideable tanks, complete with rotating turret. Plus, it only cost like $0.38 or something (like I said, the comic book was old). I couldn't tell what kind of propulsion it used, I imagine you pumped it like a bicycle. Growing up, I wanted one so badly. p:
