Title: Interesting timing
Description: Valhalla Rising release date

I'm at the end of Valhalla Rising and they just found out about the New York plan. Was this out before or after September 11th. It's supposed to be last year but the WTCs were attacked in 2001. It seems freaky to me. Eerie

I believe that Valhalla Rising came out in August of 2001, at least the paperback did. If it was out in hardcover, it would have been even before then.
And I agree it is strange...I have found that so many things that happened in the DP series hold a resemblance to a real happenings. Usually I have read the book long before these things happen......for example The Gulf War ...I think a similar event was predicted in Treasure, which I read before 1991.

;) I have a thought maybe the good Doctor can predict the future ;)

Tom Clancy Spoiler Ahead!!!

In Tom Clancys 'Debt of Honour' a (Japanese?) commercial pilot flies his Boeing 747 into the white house to venge his brothers death.

Truth is stranger than fiction! but yes it does sometimes seem that both the best and worst thoughts come at the same time in the minds of man.

It does seem like people think of things at the same time. It just seems a little freaky to me is all. When I think of it somehow I think of the old "history repeats itself". What's really weird about it is that it was based in 2003 in it happened in 2001 so if they were to base a movie off of the book they'd have a really hard time. Since the Twin Towers aren't standing I don't know what thgey would do.
