Title: On the Buckeye Trail
tonym5 - July 29, 2007 12:21 AM (GMT)
I went hiking on the Buckeye Trail, a trail that circles the whole state Wednesday July 25 and hiked 8 miles the first day, 20 miles the second day and just over 5 miles Friday until I got swanped in the rain and was tired and came home. Otherwise it was a great experience and can't wait to pick it up again next year and finish. I hiked from Milford, Ohio to just outside of Corwin, OH.

That must have been fun. There is some really beautiful country in Ohio. I was as Hocking State Park there years ago and it was a wonderland. It almost had a magical feeling to it. Glad you had a good time. w:

that's huge big day on hikes I went on were 20-22 kms. to do 30-35kms a day must be about 10 hours walking. how many hours did it take you to walk that distance on day 2?
was wear you were walking or green and lush and forest like? I think it's easy to walk through a green country than a brown and dusty Aussie bush

Woke up before dawn and started hiking on the paved path through trees and some flatland, mostly hilly.
