Title: St. Julien Perlmutter

hey gang,
so I've gotten about 12 of cussler's books under my belt now and I've yet to see St. Julien Perlmutter actually get on a ship in the open sea. Can anyone tell me if he is ever on the ocean with Dirk during the series? Wouldn't it be funny to find out that even though he loves everything maritime, he actually gets sea-sick? lol. cop:

In one book is mentioned that he crossed Atlantic in a ship, but not with Dirk. According to that book he actually hates aircrafts and airports.

Cool, don't think I've come across that yet. One of the things I really like about the Cussler books is that he make the characters seem so real... like you could drive up to Perlmutter's home and share a rare brandy with him. lol. cop:

That's why i didn't tell in what book this happens. Just so it won't be spoiled.

st. julien did go in a helicopter to investigate a landlocked ship wreck with dirk in one of the books. one of the best books in my opinion with that awesome boat dirk, al and rudi had that took out half of a certian contries's navy. too bad hollywood sucked it up by making it a lame story that only resembles the book in the name of the characters, the location, the chemical plant and the title. oops, i gave away which book it was.
