A big week coming up with the spring horse racing carnival hitting Flemington (Melbourne). I should be attending 3 of the 4 days of the meeting, with too much alcohol indulgence amongst the 120,000 or so each day a certainty! beer: party: j:

Okay, we've been "dreading" November cos it's going to be mad.
I;ve got a course in the first two days (done it), got the Red Bull Air Race on the Sunday just gone, had friends over for that, went out to dinner on the Saturday night and ended up with two more friends staying with us that night. This week, Jodi has a 3-day course, I've got a 3-day mining expo with set-up today while trying to get back in time for our Melbourne Cup lunch. Got my sister's fiance's buck's night on Friday after the expo, got a meeting in Mandurah on Saturday morning, sister's wedding on Sunday. The we've got a concert on Monday night and I've got a club meeting on Wednesday night.
Then it quietens off for a week or so before Jodi's parents come to stay for a few days and it's my Mum's birthday!
Can't wait for this time next week when the flurry has gone but can't wait till December! Still, I can always come to work to relax!
 beer:

Heading back home to Detroit for Thanksgiving, it's Katie's favorite holiday. FINALLY finishing up the Thank You cards from our wedding this summer. Katie went home the first weekend to see her little sister compete in Marching Band state finals. Other than that, not much else going on except hoping that Notre dame's dreadful season has been a bad dream and they'll magically pull it together against Duke and Standford.
