Well walked up to a little bookstore today and in the window was sitting an ARC of lost city. I had never been in there, and was thinking watch it will be in bad condition or they will want an arm and leg for it.
Got inside and looked at it and it was in nice fine condition. Looked inside and written in pencil is 5.99 . I was like my lucky day.
Went to pay and the lady says ohh you like Clive Cussler. Well i have a few more of these proofs
needless to say i walked out with Lost city, trojan Odyssey, and Valhalla Rising, all in great shape for 16.50 total.
also picked up a first printing in fine condition of Carrie in paperback by stephen king. for 90 cents, looks like it hasn't been opened.
Well that was my luck today. Hope everyone is having as much fun finding books as I am.
That puts me up to 7 ARC's for Cussler, 4 for Grisham, 4 for Chabon, 4 for Crichton, and 3 for Grafton.

yea it really is. She has about 10 more ARC's from various authors i read on hold for me , for about 5 dollars each. She is supper nice. I was in there again today, and she said any ARC's that come her way she will hold them and give me a call
