Title: Oregon Files - order to read?
NiteTrek - April 3, 2008 12:16 AM (GMT)
Well, I've finished all the Dirk Pitt adventures, as well as the Kurt Austin series and the excellent Isaac Bell debut.
I'm currently reading the first in the Oregon Files - Golden Buddha and I'm pleasantly surprised. Initially I wasn't too excited about a series with the Oregon & crew but I have to say it's a good read so far. Sort of like a modern day Mission:Impossible.
So, can someone please post a list of all the current Oregon File adventures (as well as authors?)
Thanks!

Off the top of my head, mate, Sacred Stone (CC and Craig Dirgo), Black Watch (CC and Jack DuBrul), um, Skeleton Coast (CC and JD) and Plague Ship (CC and JD - not out yet).

Just finished Golden Buddha and am starting on Sacred Stone. Looks like there are only 4 books in the Oregon Files series (5th one coming soon.) I thought there were more.
One thing nice about discovering an author "late" in his career, you can read one book after another without the several year wait for the next one. Since Cussler seems to be ready to pass the torch, looks like I came in at the right time. :)

I thought I had read all the Oregon Files books, when did Plague Ship come out?

It hasn't yet. I think it might be due out in May or early summer? Possibly Fall.
