The NUMA patch/logo above with the red background was one of the originals posted to the web back when a guy named Trevanian was soliciting help from NIKS (NUMA International KinShip) members in getting the initial launch of numa.net ready to rock and roll.

An unusual variant.

The NUMA logo above which is on the NUMA web site now was designed by
Wayne Lanford. He lost his battle with esophageal cancer in August, 2003.

A fan had a ball cap that Clive gave him back in 1989 that just had NUMA on it in a kind of cross between the NASA letters and the greek alphabet. The ball cap was flourescent green and the letters were black. The above logo lettering could well be what he was describing.
