I've seen a bunch in the stores. I might get some. They would be good in the car for all the time we spend driving during the school year.

it would take me forever to finish a book on tape. the only tape player I have is in my car and I usually only drive 10 minutes a day.

Sandecker Fan,
If thats your car in your avatar, a 10 minute drive would only be a couple of miles! cop:

j: j: j: Well that is my car in my avatar but it's only for Sunday drives. My commute to work is less that 3 miles. In the summer I usually ride my bike but with all the rain we've had this year I've had to drive more often.

Please don't quote me as I may be wrong <_<
But I do believe that all the books are available in some format det: (so keep looking you never know where they might pop up ;) )
But like I said, I may be wrong j:

We are in the car for about 45 minute each day going to and from school, so we could probably finish a book in about a month.

I listened to Tom Clancy's Hunt For Red October on tape and that convinced me it's not the same as holding a book in your hands and reading a book word for word picturing the story in your mind.

yea the tapes and cd do not compare to the books ..i am a transport driver trainer for a major canadian company..i travel from Toronto Ontario to Washinton DC 2 times a week i read the books but ive got my trainees listening to them... then they go home and get the books..not only am i training them to drive big rigs i also am converting them into Cussler fans...now you see the importance of them to me.....my last trainee was from south korea..after listening to Sahara he went and bought like 10 cussler books....i should get royalties....hehehehe...but i will keep looking for them they kill the hrs on the road.... t:

w: I have a 35 minute one way commute everyday and there is always a book on in my car. I have almost all of Clive's books on tape except Raise the Titanic. Haven't found it yet. Most are the condensed versions, but it helps to pass the time and I listen to them over and over. They have more than paid for themselves! Besides Clive, I have extensive library on tape, Hillerman, Evanovich, King, Grafton, etc. It is an addictive hobby!

I have Inca Gold, White Death, and Med Caper on cassette. I'd like to get CD's though. I have a 45 drive to work each way, so if I'm not listening to our morning crew or Mark Schultz, I can get through a book on tape in two drives!
