I am working on a non - fiction book on my political experience's that i have had over the past 20 years.
After I finish that I am going to get very ambitous and work on a Historical Novel which revolves around a well off family. The story will start with the War of 1812 and go through the passage of time and it will end in the year 2004.
You will see a family who has to deal with deep hidden secrets, love and of course betrayal.
As I go through this I will post different chapters, I will want some strong criticism and a over all feel on how it would be recieved.
I plan to go ahead with this regardless if my book on political campaign experiences does not get pulished. I love writing. Clive and others have been a huge inspiration for me to try this.

Can't wait for this!!!! This is a most promising concept :) If you want j2phillips you could self-publish or go to a vanity publisher for your political campaign book. :) I might be interested in buying it myself. And don't foget small publishing houses and university pressses. They are always looking for a book to publish. And don't forget to include a family tree for your family historical fiction. Hey Sandecker Fan, if all goes according to plan, I hope to start the historical novel around Christmas. I want to finish my political campaign book by then.
I do have a question for all: Do you want me to post chapters of my political campaign book? if you do let me know?
Since my background is political I will give a safe answer on Tony's reply: I consider all of us North Americans. ;)
