Happy Halloween. We hope you're awake this morning because somewhere between 9 and 10:30 a.m., P&C reporter Brian Hicks and his book, "Ghost Ship: The Mysterious True Story of the Mary Celeste and Her Missing Crew," will be the subject of a segment on "CBS Sunday Morning."
"I got a feeling they're puttin' together a kind-of Halloween theme show," Hicks said. " 'Ghost Ship' kinda fits."

"Ghost Ship" is the story of the Mary Celeste, a ship found adrift in the Atlantic in 1872, undamaged but without a soul onboard.

After the wreck of the Mary Celeste was found by Clive Cussler, Hicks used previously unpublished letters and photographs, interviews and new theories to draw a conclusion to one of the greatest maritime mysteries.

"Sunday Morning" walked up to Hicks in the form of a CBS reporter at a book signing by the author in Marion, Mass.

The reporter introduced himself to Hicks, said he was reading "Ghost Ship" and wanted to do a segment on the book. Taping was in Salem, Mass., at The Peabody Essex Museum, which holds the letters of the Mary Celeste's captain, Benjamin Spooner Briggs, in CBS's "60 Minutes Room" in New York City and at New York's South Street Seaport Museum.

Hicks is also the coauthor of "Raising the Hunley."

So how does it feel to be a celeb?

"Hahahahahaha," Hicks said.

I actually had the good fortune to be flipping channels this morning and run across this.
It was an interesting segment,unfortunately Clives bit was very short.If I had known about it I would have set the VCR to record it.
