I just saw this book on Amazon.com and didn't know if anyone knew anything about it. Says it's not released yet but can be pre-ordered.

Given the recent announcement of a Cussler-DuBrul union for the Oregon Files, I'm putting my money on it being a part of that series.
Then again, NUMA Files averages one a year, so who knows?
Orrrrr....Let's start a really wild rumor: Maybe its unrelated to any of the other series...yeah, it's about NASA!

I spoke someone at Putnam a few weeks ago and they told me it will be a paperback original. They offered no other details but I'm assuming its the childrens book that Clive referred to in his book festival speech.

Ok guys, I've finally got the info.
There is no EXIT EARTH, the name has been changed to POLAR SHIFT.
It's the next NUMA FILES book by PAUL KEMPRECOS

Well here's a new twist. I also spoke with someone at Penguin/Putnam this morning trying to get some information, and they told me they have nothing for Cussler under the name of "Exit Earth." (FYI: An author by the name of Martin Caidin actually wrote a book entitled "Exit Earth.") She asked if I had an ISBN No., and I gave her the one listed on Amazon.com. What she was able to pull up was a book to be released in August of 2005 entitled "Polar Shift" by Clive Cussler in hardback. She said there was no description on its contents. It seems that Amazon may have the title wrong. Even more of a mystery now. Maybe Isotta (Clive's daughter) will provide some answers on the Simon Schuster board.
