Title: Rangers Looking for Big Game 7 win
Description: Where are Leetch and St.Louis?

NY RANGERS GM - June 28, 2004 01:02 PM (GMT)
The Rangers haven't been playing the type of playoff hockey they would have like to. With the series tied at 3 games a piece game 7 will be an all out war. The big question during the playoffs have been where has Martin St.Louis and Brian Leetch been? Leetch has yet to find the score sheet and one of the Rangers top fowards during the regular season Martin St.Louis only has 1 goal and 2 points. To win game 7 the Rangers will need better play from both these players.

Martin St.Louis had this to say "Well game 7 will be a battle but im ready i will give 110% i feel i have played some good hockey just not able to find the back of the net, but freddie and JR are playing great.

This is true Jeremy Roenick has the playoff lead with 5 goals and has played great. Fredrick Modin has also shined in the playoffs.

We caught up with GM Joe Scarsella and we got a prediction of game 7. "Game 7 will be a great game but we are not goin to pack up for the summer just yet. Round 2 is just a step away and we will be there. The players know how important this game is they will be ready. We will win."

There you have it another garentte.

New York:

Zarley Zalapski reporting before Game 7!

GM Ralph trying to rally his troops as he told them they are the definite underdogs & have nothing to lose, being a youthful team on the rise.

"The guys are pumped!", stated GM The Rock, "and showing no nerves at all for guys facing a game 7! I told them to think back to their street hockey days and as kids dreaming of playin' in the Stanley Cup playoffs. Have fun out there...just DON't play like kids!!!"

The Hurricanes hope to continue to cast a storm over Marty St. Louis, while also havin' more control over Roenick, who has been their biggest nemisis this series. The refereeing has also come into question as the Rangers have rarely been called for penalties all series long. Carolina's penalty killing has been up for the challenge, but in a game 7, special teams will probably be the difference!

Let's drop the puck!!!
