Jose Theodore (MTL)

Jose Theodore has been awarded with this years first goalie of the week award. Theodore recives the award after going 3-0-1 in his 4 starts this last week for the Montreal Canadiens. Theodore had a .947 save pct in the 4 games played, with a low 1.50 Goals against avarage.

Patrick Roy (COL) and Brent Johnson (PHI) was the runner ups for the award. Roy had a 3-0-1 record with .933 save pct in his 4 starts for Colorado. While Johnson was 2-0-1 in his 3 games played, he also had a .953 save pct.

This is Jose Theodore's first player of the week award of 2003-04.

Fred Brathwaite (EDM)

Fred Brathwaite recives the second week Goalie Of the Week Award as the most outstanding goalie in the games played during the second week of the season. Brathwaite played all 4 games for his Edmonton Oilers this last week, in witch he had 4 wins and 1 shut out. Fred Brathwaite had a outstanding .935 save pct in the 4 games he started, along with a 1.75 goals against average.

The two runner ups for the goalie of the week award in week 2, was Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Jean Sebastian Gigurere (3-0-0, .932%) and Vancouver Canucks goalie Ed Belfour (3-0-0, .930%).

This was Fred Brathwaites first goalie of the week award in the 2003-2004 regular season.

Martin Brodeur (SJ)

Martin Brodeur is the winner of the Goalie of the Week Award for week 3. Starting in all of San Jose's games this week, Brodeur won all 4 game. He aslo had a save percentage of 0.922, a G.A.A of 2.00 and stop 94 shots this week.

Runner up to the award are Ed Belfour of the Canucks, who was 3-0-1 with a shutout and a sv % of 0.903, and Passi Nurminen of the New York Islanders, who in three starts had 2 wins and a tie with a shutout and a sv % of 0.938.

This is Brodeur first Goalie of the Week award of the 2003-2004 season.

Patrick Lalime (OTT)

Patrick Lalime is this weeks winner of the Goalie of the Week Award. The Quebec native won all three of his starts for the Ottawa Senators (3-0-0). He stop 68 of the shots he faced this week and had a sv% of 0.919. He had a G.A.A of 2.00.

Lalime surpased another native of Quebec in Roberto Luongo of the Washington Capitols (4-0-0, sv% .909) and Tom Barrasso of the New Jersey Devils (3-0-1 in 5 games, with a sv% of 0.912)

This is Lalime's first Goalie of the Week Award of the 03-04 season.

Mike Dunham (NAS)

Mike Dunham of the Nashville Predators is the winner of week 5 Goalie of the Week Award. The American born goalie had an outstanding week winning 3 games and tying his 4th. He earned a shoutout this week as well. His stats were most impressive. He had a GAA below 1, at 0.735, and a save percentage which was not far from 1, at 0.971.

Mike Dunham won the Awards honors over only Vancouver's Ed Belfour (4-0-0, sv% 0.913), as it was not a good week for goaltenders in general.

This is Mike Dunham's first GOTW award of the 2003-04 season. This is also the third time this season that Belfour has been a runner up for the award.

WEEK 6

Olaf Kolzig (NYR)

Olaf Kolzig of the New York Rangers is this weeks winner of the GOTW award. In 4 games this week, the only German born goalie in the league won 3 games and lost 1. He earned a shut out as well. He ended the week with a GAA of 1.5 and a Sv% of just 0.936.

Runner up to the award was Atlanta's Dan Cloutier who went 4-1-0 with a sv% of 0.932.

This is Kolzig first GOTW award of the season.

Dominik Hasek (CGY)

Dominik Hasek of the Calgary Flames won the Goalie of the Week winner of week 7. Known as the Dominator by his teammates, the best goalie ever to come out of Europe was just that, dominant, this week. He won all 3 of his starts this week, his goal against average was just 1.33 with an outstanding Sv % of 0.942

Hasek edged out Dallas's Sean Burke (3-0-1 in 5 games with sv% of 0.906) and Colorado's Patrick Roy (3-1-0 w/ sv% 0.909)

This is Hasek's first GOTW award of the season.

Jean-Sebastien Giguere (PIT)

Jean-Sebastien Giguere of the Pittsburgh Penguins is this week's Goalie of the Week. It was no contest as Giguere was simply dominate this week. He started in all 4 games this week and won all of them. He had a goal's against average of 1.75 and a save percentage of 91.2%. He also recorded a shut out this week, stoping all 21 shots he faced in a 6-0 win against the Islanders.

Runners up this week were Chicago's Nikolai Kahbibulin (3-0-1, save % of 0.930) and Edmonton's Jussi Markkanen (1-0-1 in 3 games, save % of 0.952).

This is Giguere's first GOTW award of the season.

Martin Biron (BOS)

Martin Biron of the Boston Bruins is this week's Goalie of the Week. It was a week which saw Biron go 3-1-0 with a shut out. He also had a save percentage of 0.937%

Runners up this week were Atlanta's Dan Cloutier (2-0-1, save % of 0.931) and Detroit's Curtis Joseph (3-1-0 in 4 games, save % of 0.905).

This is Biron's first GOTW award of the season.

Patrick Roy (COL)

Patrick Roy of the Colorado Avalanche is this week's Goalie of the Week. Roy, the best goaltender in the history of the sport, had another superb week winning all three of his games. He also had one shut out and a save percentage of 0.961.
Runners up this week were Toronto's John Nabokov (3-0-0, save % of 0.944) and Florida's Jocelyn Thibault (2-0-0, save % of 0.942).

This is Roy's first GOTW award of the season.

Sean Burke of the Dallas Stars is this week's Goalie of the Week. In 3 starts this week, Burk stop 67 of the 73 shots (0.918 Sav. %) that came his way to get 3 wins this week.
Runners up this week were Pittsburg's JS Giguere (4-1-0, save % of 0.933, 1 shutout) and Calgary's Dominik Hasek (3-1-0 in 4 games, save % of 0.910).

This is Burke's first GOTW award of the season.
