The Battle of Alberta begins tonight with the Calgary Flames and the Edmonton Oilers facing off for a chance to play in the Western Conference Finals!
The Oilers hope to use momentum from their first series upset of the Dallas Stars to their advantage.
"We need to come out and play just like we did against the Stars. Hard, tough, strong. We can do it." Captain Eric Desjardins said to reporters.
The Oilers tinkered with their lines during the morning skate with a more defensive approach on the top two lines. It is not known yet if coach Jim Schoenfeld will keep using the same lines he did against the Stars or use the new defensive lines.
"Their top two lines are damn good." Schoenfeld said. "I'm not sure which way I'm going to turn but you better believe that this team is going to come out and show the CTCHL they are for real. I gaurentee that!." he added.
