The Rangers didn't know what struck...especially Kevin Weekes!!!
After being majorly outshot every game the whole series, the Hurricanes turned the tables & turned it up another level as they outshot the Rangers 32-13. Marty Biron who was used to a barrage of shots, easily steered away all shots faced, although ROenick threatened a couple of times & had 4 shots himself. St. Louis was held in check again with NO SHOTS!
Van Ryn scored the loan goal & series clincher!

The Hurricanes will take their "underdog" & "nothin' to lose" mentality to Ottawa where they face a very tough Senator squad. Rest assured, the Senators should not look past the Hurricanes...
