Title: Ottawa Draft Review
Description: Sens Score Big

Ottawa Gm - August 23, 2004 01:13 PM (GMT)
The Ottawa Senators continue to improve the long term success of their organization. At the 2004 Draft the Senators did teh following;

#3 OV - Cam Barker (D)- The best overall defenseman avaialble. Big, strong and could see some ice time this year. From Winnipeg, home of Ottawa GM Jason Wagner.

# 14 OV - Blake Wheeler (RW) - "We assumed we'd be drafting Shremp, Tukonen or Wolski at this spot. Even though all we're gone when it came to our pick, we never thought Wheeler would drop so far." says Sens Gm Jason Wagner. "We are thrilled to have him and are excited about watching him develop in Minnesota over teh next three years."

#21 OV - Travis Zajac © - A potential top two centreman. "Last year we had a chnace to take Parise and we opted not to" says Sens GM Jason Wagner. "I still regret it! Travis is on his way to UND and we expect to follow in teh footsteps in Parise". Travis Zajac is also from Winnipeg, home of Senators GM Jason Wagner.

#25 - The Senators dealt this pick to teh Boston Bruins for their 1rst overall in 2005 (a top 10?) and P.J. Axelsson.

Wolski was there for you at 14 because I took him at 15 right after you.

Ottawa the word is "the" not "teh". I can forgive once as a typo but 3 times in the same post?
