Since 1997 author Barbara Angell has been researching the life and career of Coral Browne. Barbara is already a published biographer ("A Woman's War" - New Holland [Australia] Pty Limited, 1st edition 2003, 2nd edition 2005) and this new and comprehensive book, which Coral Browne fans will agree is long overdue, is to be published towards the end of 2006. More details will follow.

Interest is strong in the U.K.. I have just returned from there. It will not be just an Australian publication. Sorry, can't reveal further details yet.

The biography "Another Coral Browne Story" is being released this June (2006) the publisher is New Holland Publishers (Aust) Pty Limited and the book will be available on order from all good bookshops. The launch will be in Melbourne, her home town, at a venue that cannot yet be made public. It will be a big event and almost simultaneous release is planned in the UK.
Barbara has had the cooperation of many of Coral's surviving friends and colleagues and there is a lot of hitherto unreleased information.
