What do you guys think?

We were talking about it in my crimonology tutorial today. I live in BC Canada, which is pretty much the pot capital of North American (well, in Canada at least). I think it should be legalized, BUT with limitations.

Marijuana helps ppl that are sick, and probably going to die anyway, feel better for their last few months on earth. It makes them calm, ease pain AND gives them an appitite.

There are TONS of grow-ups in BC, there are so many that the police usually don't do anything about the small ones, because it is too muchp paper work and money.

Some might asky, "eve if there are limitations on it like alcohol, how are we going to test someone?"
Well, the breathalizer for alcohol is a pretty recent invention. Before that it was a lot harder to see if someone had had too much alchol. Technology just needs to invent the same thing for marijuana.

I personally don't smoke it, because I hate the smell and I can't stand the idea of putting smoke in my lungs, but it wouldn't be such a crime problem if they just legalized it.

PROBLEM:
If we did, Canada would probably lose a lot of trade with the US, since the US is so hell bent on never, ever legalizing it. I think its dumb, but thats my opinion.

there's really nothing wrong with marijuana...its not dangerous or anything....

its been proven that it imparies ur judgement (not as much as alcohol) but i does all the same and it slows ur relflexies down :P

Yes it is....I'm not sure about the other states..but it's illegal in CA

its illegal everywhere..there has a been a lot of talk about legalizing in bc :P

yeah its illegal here too...

If its not as harmful as alcohol, and drinking is still legal, why isn't marijuana?
