Sunagakure
The large and powerful sand village stands proud in the desert, and is as fierce as the blazing sun ahead. The KazeKage, Sabaku no Gaara, rules with an iron fist, protecting Suna the best he can. Sand litters the ground everywhere, save for the few places where the shinobi have cleared it off, such as the streets. Sand storms are often, as this is after all Wind Country.

Kirigakure
Located in the Land of Water, Kiri is a secretive village who prefers to keep to itself. Though the gruesome slaughter-like exams are now in the past, this village is still quite blood thirsty, but the firm hand of the current MizuKage has kept those with that desire to cease complaining. Misty and dreamy, the atmosphere includes yearly snowfalls and lots of rain.

Otogakure
After the death of Orochimaru, a new Kage rose and made war with Kumogakure, a village that was one of the five most powerful villages. Most of Kumo were slaughtered and the new Kage moved the village into Lightning Country, to start a 'new life' for her village. Kuno survivors begrudgingly became part of Sound, though there is much resentment. It is a quite sunny area with plenty of trees, simular to Konohagakure.

Orochimaru had a hideout here, and several of his forbidden experiments were conducted here as well. One of his subordinates continued the work after Orochimaru abandoned it, leading to attacks on the local ships. Attacks have ceased, yet there are a few mysteries that are still held in the hideout.
