my shelf basically has all the TLOTR merchandise i've collected, books, dvd's, mugs, badges, cards, bookmarks, any thing really!! just to show you what i mean heres a couple of photos of the same shelf!!!

I wonder why it took me so long to discover this post? *Gapes* :O How much LotR STUFF do you have, Lucy? It looks like you have about as much merchandise as I've ever collected, almost makes me wish I had such a special shelf like that. The only problem if I did is, my bookshelf's literally jam packed at the moment, and I have certain annoying little people running around the house who steal my things and disappear with them :(
It must be pretty spesh to you :) I mean, it would be to me ^^ I treasure my LotR collection a lot (By now you must have figured out that I'm nuts), and most of all, the RotK Extended and my Illustrated copy of the book. I wanted the RotK Collector's Edition so badly! But I couldn't afford it at the time, and I really regret it not getting it still. If I get the camera working properly, I'll take a piccie of all the stuff I have, and actually thinking about it, I think I've got a lot :) What merchandise does everyone have?

hey i don't mind you moving it!! it will be interesting to see others collections of items they have.... i must add to the collection my Stationary box set, my Frodo movable toy still in its packaging - with an orc costume from TROTK which my parents spotted and brought for me and all of my calendars! YAY!! haha...ooo.. and my duvet set for FOTR, several posters, and all my signatures, OH and my two limited edition Film Cell thingys!! which i got for passing my exams!! YAY!! hehh... soo my collection isn't limited to my shelves!! hehe...
i know what you mean, luckily my brother doesn't go around borrowing my stuff so much now but i would of worried when we were younger ... i :wub: my shelf tis very special!! some would say i am mad - well when i first showed my friends they said oh my god... how much stuff do you have and i just smiled and stood next to my shelf!! hahaha... ^_^ i can't really fit any more stuff onto my bookshelf now -its full of books, computer stuff and school stuff!! hehe soo i only had a little space left for TLOTR!! ^_^

Okay, I conclude the disturbing fact *smiles insanely* that you have more stuff than me. Argh, can anyone be more obsessed? *goggles* XD lol ^^
To make a list of all the odds and ends of merchandise I have (that I can remember), there's my three separate copies of the book, three separate copies of the book in a foreign language I cannot read, which is admittedly of no use at all :S (that some nutty friend decided to give me), Illustrated version, the three DVDs, the three Extended Editions, the three soundtracks, Frodo toy, bookmarks, some posters, a ring I call the One Ring, calendar, and stuff I made: Kewl collage thingy with piccies of anything and everything LotR/ cast, crew photos / random items that I ever came across (got the idea from Viggo ;) ) and humungous Elvish folder with courses and compositions which I'm unexplainably attached to, a disjointed thing I call my Elven brooch (my own feeble attempt at making one. Bits of wire silver framing with green, doesn't look much like the brooch, but I didn't expect much anyway), fan art stuff. I was contemplating making an elven dress of some sort, but I haven't gotten to that yet.
Right now, my shelf's filled with school books, books, random ornaments, letter sets, pads, booklets and folders and all that (and my room's incredibly messy) :frown: I couldn't fit in much even if I wanted to.

Ohoohh i need to add: *giggles madly* my own small silve One Ring (with writing)!! a plastic sword which lights up BLUE and comes with a (child size) brown cloak, pouch and a gold ring that fits my finger!! a present which i got this xmas - from my brother (i wuv him so much for gettiing me it ) hhaha- its meant for a younger child - but i thought it was soo cool!!! it lights up BLUE!! i was amazed by it!! hehe...
oo... and i got a TLOTR trilogy Trivial pursuit - which is VERY cool - though i don't know who to play it with- because my family aren't obssessed!!!! and another TLOTR Calendar!! i :wub: calendars!! ehhehe.....
