Name: Brilaratoiel Celebros, but she always goes by Bree. Often times, she forgets her own 'last name' just because she hardly ever mentions it.
Gender: Female
Race: Silvan/Mirkwood Elf
Age: Nearing the 1,500 mark, though it's hard for her to remember how old exactly.
Horse: An affectionate and protective stallion named Narilas. Narilas is a grey and black heavily dappled horse. His legs and muzzle fade completely into black, matching his mane and tail. He is very outgoing (much like Bree) and won't hesitate to nudge a complete stranger...but if he senses any ill motives on a person, he will do his best to alert Bree.
Family: A sister named Mithrael (and probably many Hobbit relatives she has never met nor heard of).
Weapons: Bree's weapons are nothing out of the ordinary for an Elf, but being raised by Hobbits, it is rather amazing how much she was able to teach herself, considering the laid-back, peaceful atmosphere of the Shire. Her long-sword apparently belonged to her father. Its hilt is dark green and a cherry wood color, inscripted with a silver language that she cannot read. It's blade is long, light and gracefully curved. She also carries with her a bow and a quiver of arrows, though she is unsure of where they came from. It is a recurve bow that reaches just below her nose when she stands in front of it. It is painfully dull, having only a wrapped leather band where she holds it. Her quiver is also quite plain, being made from wood but having leather straps to keep it on her back. Of course, when she discovered the bow and arrows, you can imagine how quickly she used the latter up, so she was forced to learn to make her own. It took her about thirty years to master the technique but now they suit her quite well. She also keeps a dagger or hunting knife strapped to her thigh and it is one of the only things she left the Shire with (of course, there it was considered a small sword, which tickles Bree's fancy to no end). It is also rather plain but gets the job done.
Appearance: Standing at about 5'11'', Bree is very slender which is curious, considering how much she eats (she's a big fan of Elevenses). She has very long chestnut hair that ripples down her back and shoulders, ending at the small of her back. She can usually be seen with it down, braided or with half of it pulled back. She's really not much of one to fuss about her appearance. She has fair, porcelain-like skin that has surprisingly stayed the same tone since she can remember, despite how much time she spends in the sun. Her face is very warm and welcoming and she usually has a grin or at least a smirk on her face. Her eyes are almond-shaped, dark green and framed by sharp eyebrows and thick eyelashes.
Attire: Her favorite tunic is a mossy green one with embroidered silver designs down the front that her adoptive Hobbit mother made for her. With this tunic, she wears leggings usually dark brown, black or grey in color, it really doesn't matter that much to her. She has knee-high black boots that are very worn-in. Bree is very protective over these boots and won't let anyone but herself even try them on for fear of destroying the way they have formed to her feet over these many long years. She wears a pair of black leather gauntlets which, like her boots, are completely void of any marking. Sometimes she will wear a black cloak that looks as though it's been to Mordor and back. It has a long hood and is split in the back, to allow her bow and arrows to be accessible when she is wearing it.
Personality: Bree is a pretty simplistic being. She was raised by Hobbits, after all. She enjoys friends, family and the good times those two usually encompass. Her sense of humor is one thing about her personality that she probably values most of all. She is a very mischevious person, of course, and will spend many hours thinking up master plans and will go out of her way to attempt them. Although she is a very intelligent person, she doesn't usually let on for the mere fact that she'd rather have people underestimate her and be impressed later on. She's very laid back and tolerant; it takes a lot to raise her temper. But if, in fact, you've managed to do so, you should probably look out, especially if you've crossed her or someone she cares about. Bree is very defensive and would gladly put her life on the line for anybody she sensed had a good soul. She is usually daydreaming about places she's never seen and people she's never met. She's very outgoing and won't hesitate to introduce herself to any given stranger. She usually doesn't get intimidated by other people, mostly because she thinks that life is too short to be afraid (easy for her to say, she's immortal). She is a people person and is awestruck and enchanted by emotion, especially that of humans. In fact, she is intrigued by all mortals, as most mortals are intrigued by Elves. She speaks Elvish fluently, but prefers the Common Tongue mostly because it reminds her of 'home'. Some might consider her to be naïve because she seems to only look on the bright side, but she is very much aware that there is a darker side to things. She just doesn't know how to deal with that side as well.
History: Bree's parents were both killed by an ambush of orcs as they were on their way to the Grey Havens. Bree and her sister Mithrael were of course with them, but somehow managed to escape unscathed. They were found by some Hobbits in the neighboring land and taken back to Hobbiton and later Buckland, for Bree. Mithrael was only in the Shire for a year or so, before Gandalf came, discovered her and took her back to Rivendell to be raised the the Elves. Had he known about Bree, he would have taken her, as well. Bree was raised well enough, though, by a loving Hobbit couple that unfortunately could not bear children of their own. She grew up learning all about farming and spent most of her days with fellow children, playing petty games and learning how to navigate a boat. However, when she was about thirty in mortal years, her adoptive father died and so did her mother soon after, from grief, they said. Just days before she died, she told Bree where she really came from and that susposedly had a sister. She told Bree that it was rumored her sister had been taken to a land called Rivendell. After her mother died, Bree set out to find this 'Rivendell', devastatingly unprepaired. Had it not been for Narilas, she would have never made it at all. She arrived at the gates half-dead and twenty-five pounds lighter than she had been before she left. Thankfully, Lord Elrond was able to heal her and soon she was back to her old antics with help from Princes Elladan and Elrohir. It was in Rivendell where Bree met her sister, Mithrael and discovered the telepathic connection they shared. She spent most of her time in Rivendell, until about a century or so ago when she suddenly decided that she needed to get away and see the rest of Middle-Earth. She still visits frequently, but considers herself more of a drifter than anything else.
