Haya has anyone seen him in V for Vendetta. I think he did a really good job in that, especially as he's behind a mask for the whole film.
Has anyone seen Priscilla, Queen of the desert, the film where he's in drag. Is it any good?
He kind annoyed me in the the second two matrix films though (just the way he talked in some sences really got on my nerves).

I have not seen either movie, Vendetta or the Queen of the Desert one.
Everytime I see him as Elrond now though, I want to stick sunglasses on him and make him go 'Mr. Anderson...' O___o

*Cackles* I laugh everytime I hear someone say that. My dad has a friend named Mr Anderson, and he'd wear sunglasses inside just for the hell of it (something about people staring at his eeyes), and because we'd crack jokes about him. Some people are strange ^_^
Anyway, I haven't seen either of those either, but I've heard quite a bit about V for Vendetta. Are they good?

Lol my uncle has that last name, Anderson.

lol. I never had the 'Mr Anderson' problem because I didn't realise it was him until one of my brother cracked the joke half way though RotK. But then that kinda of thing is rarely a problem for me.
Well, I've only seen V for vedetta (and Matrix of course). For V it really depends on taste, and wheather you've read the graphic novel. My brother loves the graphic novel, so the film was a major disappiontment for him. I really liked it, but I did notice several flaws. What brought the film up was some great sences.

Oo, I saw V for Vendetta on tues (21st March) and i thought it was brilliant. Okay so some bits were a bit odd - Natalie Portman's Accent was really weird at first then i sort of got used to it... But Hugo was excellent as V, he has such a wonderful tome of voice I could have just sat there and listened to it all day!! heh, weird..
It brought up some very powerful images: i loved the end scene, with the rows and rows of V's face.. it was amazing...
I've never read the actual comic so I never had any ideas about it in the first place, but i did read one review which said they thought V was too human. I guess it's kinda true, it was weird to see him in an apron cooking breakfast!

I just finished watching it {I am at the mall} and I thought the showing was very good. He was very animated behind the mask. :)

My brother came back from watching it and made all these comment about what was 'wrong' and what was done better in the graphic novel. He lend the graphic novel to me, but I haven't got round to reading it yet.

Heh, I saw V for Vendett on DVD the other day. Twas... interesting ^_^ Hugo Weaving's pretty good at the odd unusual role ^^ I'd seen the graphic novel somewhere... and I've been looking for it, but can't seem to find it now. Shame, woulda liked to have read it.
