Name: Thurinae Adar
Year of Birth: III 881
Family: Unrevealed by those around her, if they do know.
Gender: Female
Race: Elf. Which division of elf is unknown to Thurinae.
Other: Thurinae has a white-furred wolfish looking hound named Draugryn, who has been her companion through many journeys. He provides her not only with companionship, but is a decent hunter and protector of Thurinae. This is not to say he is tamed however, Draugryn still has a wild-edge to him, which will come out sometimes if distrusting, or provoked in any manner.
Appearance: Thurinae has a paled complexion, partly due to the fact she was raised far from warm conditions, living in snow and ice as far back as she can remember. She has long black hair that she’s cropped to end just past her shoulders, tying it back loosely, often. Hey eyes are not dark however, but instead a clear blue-green color. Her face is thinly-framed, with light dusted freckles across the bridge of her nose. She enjoys wearing tunics over a dress, which is obviously inconvenient for ice and snow. She has a long wolf-fur cloak, and a dark black tunic with silver inlayed designs. Her boots are lined with wolf-fur as well, though she has a lighter pair. Thurinae is not one to smile often, but if she does isn’t without reason.
Personality: Thurinae is more outspoken than quiet, in which her words usually have a brutal honest edge to them. She dares to speak out when others don’t. It would seem she is lighthearted in some nature, but it might be considered an edge of uncaring. She does not let much phase her, no matter what it is. If you throw an insult at her, she will let it pass – thinking she is better than that. A bit contrary to this side of her, she can easily try to help people look on the bright side of situations. Thurinae is perceptive of others feelings, it seems a bit more so than others. She finds she can read people’s emotions easily, as well as what is on their mind. She does not enjoy being pulled down by the weight of her own emotions, and often looks to understand before she reacts to situations. However, this does not always work. Her most prominent emotion is anger, which she has a hard time controlling. The more she doesn’t act on it, the more she tries to control it she finds it only festers more. No matter what she does the feeling seems to be inbred into Thurinae. Aside from her temper, Thurinae seems to be able to take up leadership, having some sense of a venerable characteristic to her. Thurinae has a curiousness of knowledge, and travels from place to place enjoying other cultures, customs, and languages. Thurinae is intrigued most of all with all things evil, not in the sense she would wish to ever join that side, but from an outside view – enjoys to see how evil works, on a psychological level. Is an obsessive thinker, always analyzing everything and everyone who crosses her path. This makes her extremely well at tracking things, or people, as well as due to the fact she had to be skilled to track in the blinding snow. She’s stubborn often and insists she’s self-sufficient enough not to need others help; this is the most prominent side of her – running alongside her temper. For some reason or another, Thurinae has taken easily to using two curved scimitars, wielding them with very good precision – as if she’s been trained in it.
History: Her heritage is unknown to her, but carries a small key on a simple chain hidden beneath her tunic she’s had since birth. All her mortal companions have passed, and yet she lives on. At long last she decided it was time to search out who her parents were – why her mother gave her away. She knows it was her mother, due to knowing the meaning behind her Elvish name. For that she searches out any remaining family that might have answers, or for the people who might have banished her so far north as a child.
