Title: Eye of Felucia OOC Thread
Description: Please read/ post before joining ;)

OOC:--EYE OF FELUCIA--
I've been sitting on this RP for quite some time, at least, it feels like it ;) I was going to wait till we finished Amon Lanc first initially... but since that has a long way to go, I gave up on the waiting.
Anyway, I'd been interested in doing a Star Wars RP of some kind for a while, because it's something different. Really different. Then I got into the books, some of which are quite good, and so this RP is mainly inspired by the books set during the Clone Wars... well, and the movie saga (where would the books be without them?) =) PS. Heheh, I actually did do some research ^^
--About the Roleplay--
Time Period: Month 6 from the start of the Clone Wars (Old Jedi Order).
Settings (Planets):
Starting point is Coruscant, and destination is the heart of Felucia, which one of the remote outer rim planets. Heheh, as soon as I saw a shot of this place in the movie, I fell in love with it ;) So, about Felucia:
Once a major holding of the Commerce Guild, Felucia was a world teeming with fungal life-forms and immense primitive plants. Much of the planet has a fetid, humid landscape overgrown by forests of bizarre wilderness. Many of the life-forms on Felucia are partially or completely translucent; they color the sunlight as the beams penetrate their skin. Beneath the hazy canopies of the enormous pitcher plants and leafy growths is a surreal color-drenched landscape.
Near the end of the Clone Wars, Felucia was one of the key contested worlds during the Outer Rim Sieges. Jedi Knight Aayla Secura and Clone Commander Bly led the Star Corps of clone trooper infantry through the wild underbrush of the planet, searching out Separatists forces that lay in wait. It was not the Separatists that would seal Secura's fate, however. When Order 66 was enacted, Bly and his soldiers killed their Jedi leader as an enemy of Republic. (Source: sw.com)
Though note, this RP takes place more than a year before those last events described.
A bit of Felucia's history~ Felucia was colonized by the Gossam 40,000 BBY, early in their interstellar history. Felucia was one of their earliest colonies though it was one of the least since its vast fungus jungles proved too wild to support large Gossam colonies. As such, the planet became little more that an exotic retreat world for the wealthy Gossam along with their lowly servants and labourers. The planet was entirely controlled by the Commerce Guild and resistance to the Guild was found in scattered townships in the wilderness. These townships were home to escaped workers, criminals and enemies of the Guild.
During the Clone Wars, Felucia became the headquarters of the Commerce Guild which supported the Confederacy of Independent Systems (the Separatist movement). Felucia would become a valuable member world and was as a result named by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine as part of a "Triad of Evil" alongside Mygeeto and Saleucami. (Source: starwars.wikia.com)
The Jist:
Basically, this story is a rescue mission to save the galaxy from disaster (which is, typically what happens, but not quite the same).
The Clone Wars:
This is set during this period, which is basically, for those who don't know, a war which rages for about three years on thousands of battlefronts, involving countless planets. The Republic (and the Jedi) and their clone armies from Kamino go against the Separatists (and their allies) and their droid armies. Even though later we find out the whole thing was a Sith-controlled 'we take over the world' deception, that's not relevant for now ^^
The Plot:
It goes something like this-- The evil, corrupt (though that's a matter of subjectivity O.o) Count Dooku (leader of this Separatist thing) and his allies in the Commerce Guild, in their attempts to dismantle the peace keepers that stand between them and convincing all planets to secede (Dooku's ultimate goal), aka he will then have complete dominion, has contrived a method of convincing the Gossam to produce some extremely deadly herbs, which they call Iri Lysiann, from toxic plant material. These herbs drug all living things, and notably, are powerful enough to overcome the force resistance of Jedi. Reche Tyalier (a representative of the Guild who, along with Ventress, is the villain in this story) has mysteriously dispatched a large sample of these plants on Coruscant. Following is his secret and unsuspecting kidnap of several drugged Jedi and Republic Loyalists. He takes the prisoners back to a vaulted hide-out on the world of Felucia. The Jedi Council do not find out until it is too late. For one of the only times in their 'alliance' together, Chancellor Palpatine and the Council agree to send a small force to rescue the victims, and to spy out the elements behind such a dangerous attack, and to eliminate the threats.
[Does anyone want me to give away the reason behind Reche Tyalier going and doing this risky kidnap business, or would you prefer it if you found out through the Roleplay? We need elements of 'suspension', surprise, whatever you choose to call it, after all ^^]
Random events which will happen~
The good guys will also be meeting up and allying with some rebel Gossam colonies along the way (Go da rebels!).
W00t, a Trial ^^ For someone in the team ^^ (I'm going to enjoy having someone else sulk and argue ^^]
Droids getting >BLOWN< up.
People dying (Who wants to volunteer? =( )
The end~ A (dramatic, heheh) rescue... involving a war of some kind... I would be tempted to blow up the planet, but unfortunately it doesn't get destroyed at this point in time. Dang.
Duration in SW time~ 3-4 months.
--Dramatis Personnae--
The Good Guys~
The leaders-- I'm planning on the mission being led by (my charrie's mentor), Shakiah Leusa (Female human; Jedi Master)...
Other Jedi-- Several Jedi Knights (or just four to six), four of which are Obi-Wan Kenobi* (Male human; Jedi Knight), Kaani Dashan (Female Twi'lek; Jedi Knight), Anakin Skywalker* (Male human; Jedi Apprentice) and Leriana Aveill'e (Female human; Jedi Apprentice), my character, who convinces the Council to let her partake in the mission.
Allies-- Feel free to add ^^
Droids-- R2-D2 (he's my fave droid, we're not leaving him ^^) , R5-CT (Leriana's droid)... Again, feel free to add to the list.^^
Clones Troopers-- Many of them, captained by a clone named Vane... I won't list their numbers...
Starships (aka the inter-planet transport)-- Various ARC-170 Starfighters piloted by clones, and a fleet of four or five Jedi Starfighters, depending on the number that are going.
The 'kidnapped'/ imprisoned Allies (aka, the people being rescued)-- Rhian Aveill'e (Male human; Jedi Knight), Chewbacca* (Wookiee ;)) among others... Feel free to add ^^
The Baddies~
Count Dooku, with the Commerce Guild (led by Shu Mai, president of the guild, who was originally a Separatist leader) under his sway, whose sole representatives, Reche Tyalier, Commander Asajj Ventress* (Evil to the core, and there are many reasons why. We should watch out for her, she reminds me of Meren a lot XD I'm looking forward to her venting some of her anger out on Reche ;)) and large numbers of Spelunker Probe droids* are the baddies we'll be 'pursuing' in this RP :) Mwahahaa.
{About these probe droids: The chameleon droid gets its name from the use of a holographic array to project surrounding imagery in its place, effectively rendering the droid invisible. While not a true cloaking device, it is nonetheless effective against passive sensor scans. The droid's cylindrical body contains a small repulsorlift unit. While not used for propulsion, it does lessen the droid's overall weight, increasing its agility as it travels on four articulated pincer legs. The legs can generate traction fields allowing the droid to secure purchase on the most slippery of slopes. These droids could walk even on walls and ceilings.
The droid's mineral sensors had been replaced with laser cannons. Its storage bay that contained its blasting charges for mining duty had been left unchanged, though military-grade mines replaced the less potent explosives. (Source: starwars.wikia.com)}

* Existing Characters
Phew, that's the most I've ever written in the OOC of a roleplay >.< Is anybody interested?? *puppy dog face* It would be really fun to do something like this at the same time ^^ I hope I don't succeed in confusing anyone who hasn't seen the movies or anything =S Believe me, I was confused with the details for some time, so I'll fill anyone in on anything they don't understand...
[I wrote the first post ^^]
--------------------
***
List of Encyclopedias (which seemed oddly out of place in another OOC thread):
TheForce.Net Okay, but not the best
Wookiepedia A LOT of detailed stuff. From the relevant ones to the less prominent… like alcohol ^^ I laughed when I first saw this encylopedia, because wikipedia made one to suit SW =)
Official Site Databank The Databank from the official site. Always reliable =) (Navigation’s at the top, btw)
------------------------
UPDATE: Thal K'sar's been scrapped, and replaced by Reche Tyalier (no he doesn't exist. I created him, he has his moment of glory, here, and gets killed by Vader later after Mustafar. Serves him right). Reche is now THE central villain. In this tale, anyway.
To add a description of the guy, well, he's human, and he has scarlet hair and has two piercings on his upper left ear. He thinks he's ingenius but he's only another pawn who Sidious uses. He's force sensitive so he senses things, but knows absolutely nothing about the dark side, only that it is a source of great power. He is, in a way, a megalomaniac, delusional about his importance, but he is evil nonetheless. Plain evil. He does anything to achieve his ends, and often resorts to torture and murder.
(May add more if I'm inspired to)
Erelith - April 24, 2006 01:21 AM (GMT)
Lol, one question.
Can I make a human-like-person who has no idea what in the nine hells is going on? XD {much like me at the moment} If I can, haha or if there is anything like it - I'm in for it.
Athéniel Egleriannen - April 24, 2006 05:46 AM (GMT)
Of course ^^ We can make it that you're some interested offworlder wandering lost in some random part of Coruscant, then you meet my character, and your character becomes interested what she does, those two talk themselves into the mission (this is where yer persuasive-ness comes in, because it's going to be a tad bit hard when you deal with a complete stranger)... and the rest is... history ^^
And, erm... you do know what planet we're on and all that, yeah? And you've at least seen some of the movies, yes? (I hope so!! Else you could go rent them or something ^_^ You'll love it ^^ Well, actually, with me, I happened to end up watching the end first (Ep III), and that was definitely why I <3 it, because it's the best of the lot) Otherwise, it's alright, I'll explain things. I just hope I'm understandable.... (You could do a bit of reading by going to the official site or something too.)
PS. I shall post my charrie bio sune ^_^
Erelith - April 24, 2006 03:01 PM (GMT)
I've seen the III one with Varsis. ;D Haven't seen much of the others but we do own them, which is kind of sad.
****
I know this is a bit off topic - but since we seem to so easily kick off RP's like this without a problem, {we're good like that ;D} I was curious to know if on
The Inklings you would think about helping me start up any kind of RP aside from LOTR.
We've got pretty much every single one needing an RP. Guh, rather, we need members. >_< Anyways, here's a list:
Harry Potter
Pirates of the Caribbean
X-Men {not sure if you are familiar with it}
Peter Pan {which we had a good one called - The War for Neverland on the last site ...sadly, we never have finished one RP. Amon Lanc will be my first RP ever finished, if we do.}
Forgotten Realms {the books I was explaining in the other thread earlier - drow, etc. Relatively close to how Lord of the Rings is run, only ...a hell of a difference, lol..I suppose. There's gnomes and such, and more magic, and drow/dark elves {who are feared I should mention}. Fun stuff. I bet I could get Bree in on it now I've poked her to read the books.}
The rest on there are sections for original plots from the last forum we had, until I wanted to upgrade to invisionfree hosting. There's one Vampire one {based off the Anne Rice books} another one which started off as being based around the mummy, but it's kind of it's own story now. Hmm...and another one which was off the punisher at first, but made it's own story.
EDIT: My friend Jessie is in on this Star Wars RP, I posted the OOC on inklings though because I've no doubt her computer would totally crash if she tried to load EF.
Athéniel Egleriannen - April 25, 2006 10:07 AM (GMT)
My parents own like a heap of dvds I haven’t really seen as well, but lyke, of all things, how can you own the SW movies and not watch them?!
***
O.o I’ve contemplated posting RPs for Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean and Peter Pan (That was like after ‘Finding Neverland’, which was a while ago. I used to read it when I was small), but then figured that there would be no way that I would be able to post in so many RPs and finish them right now, so I decided not to =( So I can give you ideas and such for the OOCs for The Inklings, but it'd be impossible for me to go in so many RPs >.<
***
Is it just the scripts that stop people with dial-up from loading the site, because I’ve been gradually deleting/ replacing them so they won’t pose too much of a problem anymore. I think I've made the place load a LOT faster now (yay!), so try getting your friend to load it, and if it's still too slow, then I'll continue fixing up (I'm nearly done!)
Erelith - April 25, 2006 03:20 PM (GMT)
Yeah I've noticed that it loads a bit faster even with my {fast} internet. My friend is a definite join-in I'm pretty sure. She's never RPed before though, but she write ficcage so it's pretty much the same thing. I told her I would trade my adept knowledge for Tolkien for hers in Star Wars and that I would join SW if I could get her in on Amon Lanc, or something like it for that matter. ;D
I think she just has a crappy computer, because when I try to send files and stuff to her it makes her computer crash ;D so it's not really with EF it's just because people have really slow/crap computers. {seemingly all the people I know, haha.} I use Firefox religiously so half the scripts don't even show up on here. I would have loved to go all out and stuff with Inklings, but half the people signed up on it would have to wait like 4908504985 minutes for it to load :( ah well. {not like I even finished coding lol}
I've got a few OOC ideas up for Peter Pan and X-Men now on the Inklings, and another Lord of the Rings one, haha. {I've been in the mood to really make a Forgotten Realms character.}
Athéniel Egleriannen - April 26, 2006 09:37 AM (GMT)
Heheh, well I'm on my way to being adept in my supposed knowledge of the Star Wars universe *cackles insanely* I've only got about 94.32 more books to read 8-) and a million more questions I need answers to O.o That is, in addition to my over-the-top why-do-I-know-so-much-anyway annoying knowledge about Tolkien's mythos (I've been warned against reading the History of Middle-earth since I supposedly know too much already XD), and I'm not halfway through the languages yet ^^
I'd like to meet this friend of yours, heheh ;)
[My computer's had so many 'brains' reinstalled into it because its crashed or broken down that I don't remember what the really slow computer we used to have was like-- only that it had programs that I miss =S]
I have ideas spinning everywhere half the time, but only 50% of the time I write them down, and those are only when I get particularly good ones.
Ooh, something just occured to me. Dratted timelines! Timeline issues are bad (I'm sure you've noticed before). According to sources, some of the characters might not even be available during Month 18 of the CW (when this takes place at the moment)... So, I'm going to change it to Month 6 or 7, and the duration will be about 3-4 months, because I can't be totally sure what existing characters are doing at the time... (So if you pick up any errors, tell me...) It's just these annoying problems that pop up with really detailed/ insightful works like these :oddlook:
Erelith - April 29, 2006 02:05 AM (GMT)
Lately I've been attempting to research the different races of Star Wars to get a feel of what the 'world' is about.
I've not yet been cautioned over reading more Tolkien, haha, but I've no doubt I should have been long ago. I have a whole friggin' library of books on his works that I've never finished reading yet. In fact, it's quite sad because for this Role-play alone {Amon Lanc that is} I went through at least half of them trying to get a feel for the timeline and what was going on at that point. Obsession, anyone?
Athéniel Egleriannen - April 30, 2006 06:32 AM (GMT)
I sorta wish I did have a library of those *thoughtful look* Then I wouldn’t have to rely on the Internet with most of my ‘supposed’ research. But then, I do look over the appendices of LotR quite a lot. There’s useful stuff in there. Heheh, this was me trying to figure out Almarean’s story several weeks ago: went completely insane over the history, names, bla, of Amon Lanc and the timeline (that’s going to become a saying sune. Dratted timelines.), which resulted in me flipping over the appendices at least twenty odd times. Talk about the detail of Tolkien’s stuff!
And Star Wars… that’s also pretty damn detailed. To make it worse (but more interesting at the same time), it’s set in a galaxy, meaning there are a million odd worlds that probably exist there, most of which we know nothing about. And as I result (I came across this book which listed all the known species that exist; it was huge), there are probably billions of species/ creatures that we know nothing of… The most confusing thing, I’ve figured, is keeping track of everything. Try reading an anthology (like ‘Tales of the New Republic’) where each story touches on several planets.
Erelith - June 6, 2006 04:44 PM (GMT)
Ahaha, boy will I have fun going for Anthropology in the fall to College. ^^ I've been laughing over it all, because I really will have to commit crap like that to memory, you know, dates, timelines, cultures....a whole list of languages I've yet to learn.
Should be ...fun.
Athéniel Egleriannen - June 8, 2006 12:48 PM (GMT)
Hahah, have fun with that ^^ Like, fictional or non-fictional? Because that'd be a hell of a lot of 'factual' stuff to commit to memory O.o
Speaking of languages, I have the strange urge to learn old English (It was funny, because I mentioned that to my friend, and she was like, 'You mean Shakespearean?' Made me laugh.)
Erelith - June 9, 2006 02:30 PM (GMT)
Oh, it's definitely not fictional facts I'll be remembering.
Athéniel Egleriannen - June 12, 2006 09:31 AM (GMT)
*Nervous laugh* Well, glad I'm... not doing that, then >.<
Erelith - July 26, 2006 03:18 PM (GMT)
I'm making my Character for this RP now, I have to go schedule my classes for college soon so I need to finish that and then I will probably work on her more later. I'm kind of B.S.ing the entire thing, but at the same time I'm making an effort for what I understand of my character's race. I need to think up a history, which isn't gonna be fun since I have like no idea where the heck to start. Well...I have SOME idea, but not a great {brilliant} one or anything. Hmm...
Anyways, I named her Pyrrhus {PI-rus}
From the Greek name Πυρρος (Pyrros) which meant "flame-coloured, red", related to πυρ (pyr) "fire". This was another name of Neoptolemus the son of Achilles. This was also the name of a 3rd-century BC king of Epirus.
Can you guess what color she's gonna be? hah.
Athéniel Egleriannen - July 27, 2006 12:58 PM (GMT)
Heheh, I'll make a BIG guess... red? Personally, though, I've never seen a red Twi'lek... but then, there are probably like rainbow colours spanning the population (just thinking what someone colourblind would do if they walked onto Ryloth XD [Homeplanet of Twi'leks]).
You have knack of coming up with interesting names, don't you? I should look at name origins more often, because I more often than don't just pull them out of thin air, you know, juggle with random letter combinations *frowns*
If you become stuck or anything, mehbe I could help you with it ^^ I'm reading the New Jedi Order series right now (obsession... obsession... *pause* It's good. Apart from the fact that one of my fave characters gets killed off), and I've read a lot of the books, so I know quite a bit.
I've only got to dream up a small detail in my charrie's history to make it work, then I'm done ^_^ Aww, I love her so much I named one of my goldfish after her >.<
Erelith - July 28, 2006 02:58 AM (GMT)
This is where I get all my names from usually, outside the Elvish dictionary that is.
http://www.behindthename.com/Let me know if this bio is alright, I kind of ...tried. Sadly. Lol, hopefully I will catch on. I hope it's not too weird I wanted to make her be more uncommon in nature for her race.
Name: Pyrrhus {PI-rus} Terah {TEE-ra}
Pyrrhus’terahAlias: Vixen {for those who care little to know her actual name}
Race: Half Twi’lek, other half is unknown.
Appearance: Pyrrhus has a rare coloring for her race, Twi’lek. Her flesh tone is almost crimson red, with a vibrant orange hue to it. Upon first glance it seems that this female only has two head tails, but at a closer look one can note that she has four, even more of an uncommon feature amongst her own kind. Pyrrhus separates the four and binds them to illusion as two, as not to attract the odd look of others. Each head tail fades down into a dark, almost black colored amber and have black markings, almost tribal-looking down the inside of all. Normally prized for their gracefulness and beauty, on the surface Pyrrhus appears to lack either. Once she begins to walk, it’s a bit of another story, however. This Twi’lek has very little luck, often getting stuck into one mess from another. Pyrrhus also has an assortment of piercings’ ranging from her ears to various other places. She stands rather short, not past five foot five, and has a slim, though not overly toned frame to her body. As for her weapon of choice, she has none – using what comes to mind at that particular moment in time, depending on the situation.
Personality: Between conditioning, this race is naturally submissive. It would appear so for Pyrrhus as well, but she rarely shows her true intentions. Appearing docile, this Twi’lek is highly passive aggressive, taking her revenge in the complete silence. This trait is noted quickly when sold into constant slavery, no master willing to take her for fear they will be dealt this. Of course, this is not mentioned as she is passed from one master to the next, though it is easily found out once she is bought. Horrid with luck and often seeming to trip over her own feet half the time, Pyrrhus seems to turn on a different switch in her head when she’s in combat. Often her mind thinks outside the box when it comes to solving problems – even if they might seem completely ridiculous. She’s a bit out there, but none the less amusing to be around when she finds friendship. She knows when to hold her tongue most times, but can often find her tangled in her own words at the worst of times. Pyrrhus has a witty sense of humor, using riddles and sarcasm as her form of humor. She prides herself in exploiting the attraction most have to the Twi’lek race if Pyrrhus can gain from it in some form. The Twi’lek uses logic over all other form of reasoning to defeat others in verbal battle. She seems to have a tough exterior, but down inside, sometimes
deep down, she has a compassionate nature.
History: Taken from her clan at a young age, Pyrrhus has never remembered much of her family. She cares little to know them, trying to move forward instead of getting stuck in events past.
Athéniel Egleriannen - July 30, 2006 05:29 AM (GMT)
I lub it, I realli do :yesnod: It's fine ;)
I think trading slaves was kind of illegal where the Republic was concerned, but there were probably exceptions, since you can’t solve every conflict in a huge galaxy. This roleplay happens during the Clone Wars period (so in terms of the movies, it would be in the three years between Ep II and Ep III), but later, during the Empire era, that was the time when I think Twi’leks were commonly sold as slaves and that kind of thing *thoughtful* As I said, there are probably plenty of exceptions ^^
The thing I guess I forgot to ask you before was whether you had planned on making her a Jedi at all? There are lots of Twi’lek Jedi around. Like, near the end of Ep III, in the only scene that Felucia appears briefly in, the Jedi on that planet was a blue Twi’lek, and she got attacked all those evil clones (and probably died) :(
Otherwise, though, if she weren’t, we would need to think of a way to get Pyrrhus to join the group somehow. If she were a Jedi, they could easily, say, just send four of them along to Felucia. But if she were a complete stranger and a civilian, I don’t think the Jedi Council would agree on that... unless Pyrrhus gets picked up as a stray on the way ;) What do you think?
All I know is, Kaani (Leriana’s Twi’lek Jedi friend. She’s purple, by the way) should befriend Pyrrhus =) They are of common race, after all.
Also, I was thinking of chucking out one or two characters, like Obi-Wan and/or Anakin because there are too many *confuzzled*, though I sort of regret that, because they’re hilarious in the worst of situations. Alternatively, we can leave them in… *hovers in indecision* Open to suggestions!
PS. I’m gunna post my charrie bio, so you can maybe get an idea, anyway.
sexystarwarslover - January 24, 2007 09:36 AM (GMT)
:rotkkiss: Can I have a female human character who makes Obi-wan or Anakin fall in love with her?
Athéniel Egleriannen - January 24, 2007 10:55 AM (GMT)
Whoops, I forgot a small detail. Ok, imagine we have a small magnifying glass and we magnify a small portion of sw history, and add in what could have happened during that small period of time. In this case, the story takes place during the Clone Wars. And that means we can't change any of the events that happened, nor alter the histories of any of the characters, sorry :( We can only add our own fictional characters and pretend they somehow took some part in the scheme of things. So that means that Anakin stays with Padmé, and Obi-Wan would never, ever, ever fall in love. He's the strict law-abiding type, remember.
Those two are just going along on another of their missions to some planet in this story, with some friends, to rescue some jedi... Except, I was thinking of leaving one of the two behind 'cause there are too many characters to keep track of...! Vote as to who we should ditch?
(I'd like to change the story, you know... but I also prefer what happened than anything I could ever dream up...)
sexystarwarslover - January 25, 2007 09:26 AM (GMT)
I got an idea for my character, a young female smuggler who is working for the bad guys [not fianly yet] and she is captured by the jedi, demanding to know what is going on and where are the prisoners? She strikes a friendship with the jedi, showing that she is gifted with a blaster and her appearance shows that she is not just your average girl
Athéniel Egleriannen - January 25, 2007 09:39 AM (GMT)
A decent idea. Since your character's been captured, maybe, the band of Jedi going on the mission can just decide to take him/her along... He/she might be a suspect that has something to do with the evil brewing on Felucia and the kidnaps. How does that sound?
Athéniel Egleriannen - February 28, 2007 10:07 AM (GMT)
Oh dang, I lost my post because I accidentally turned off the internet, and the page didn’t load. Argh, frustation. Anyways, what I wanted to say was, I’m really starting to love these little probe droids! Decided to add a description of them for reference.
Spelunker Probe Droids
These 'little beauties' were designed and created by madman Reche Tyalier himself, and he labels them his greatest invention yet. They're small and fast moving, making them extremely difficult to see (a credit to you Lauren :)) until they are hovering silently behind their victims. They’regarnished with silver chrome, they’re ruthless to the core, and they’re here to stay...
They listen exclusively to Reche’s orders by voice recognition, to demolish, destroy all in their path, by releasing a venom extract of Iri Lysiann. Because this devilish plant dampens and weakens even the powers of Force-users, these droids are a formidable foe against any sentient being, including Jedi.
The droids released by Tyalier at the moment are the first fleet from his precious laboratory, embarking on their first experimental trial run, and Reche hopes no one will escape the clutches of these little devils…
I’m looking forward to playing with them too…
If you feel like letting Ventress releasing them against Sheree’s ‘mortal enemy’ Anakin, feel free :)
sexystarwarslover - March 1, 2007 09:02 AM (GMT)
:faramireowyn: thanks for the credit, that was so sweet, i'll try to put alittle something up tonight
Athéniel Egleriannen - March 2, 2007 02:23 AM (GMT)
:) Your latest post-- Somehow, I knew Sheree was going to set those droids off on Anakin :yesnod: Just don't forget that she doesn't know he's about to arrive on Felucia. Actually, neither does he. XD
The only thing is... Reche's reason for becoming convinced into letting her have some of his droids... isn't too convincing ('with Anakin out of the way, the Separatists would rule the galaxy') Ruling the galaxy isn't really their goal, they probably just want to ultimately demolish the Republic. Ruling the galaxy is Darth Sidious' goal, and the Separatists are just his pawns (they know none of his plans, Count Dooku knows some) =S Second up, Anakin might be some powerful Jedi, but the Separatists don't know what's going to happen later (they would have no clue that a prophecy exists, the only ones who do are the Jedi and the Sith)... so in Reche's eyes, he would be just one insignificant Jedi, in, what, 10,000? Think of a better way to convince Reche, Sheree ;)

That was so cool, now for some fun and I suppose I have to carry on from Reche and Sheree's conversation hehehehe, don't worry I have an idea! You'll see lol, loved it and very interesting indeed.

Your post was awesome, except, I reckon you should write some more about Sheree's motives, you know, what she's thinking about all of this, what she thinks of Reche, what she wants... really get inside her head ;)
Oh, and one correction. Now, we're onto some fun. Although it does depend on which side you're on... Ah, I don't know. Feel free to be Asajj this time, or, you know, you could continue with Sheree and Reche's side of things. It's your choice.
:ringwraith: <-- Know who this reminds me of? (apart from a ringwraith, because it is, in fact, a ringwraith *cackles*) Jacen! Hahah... 8-)

Loved your recent post, sounds very cool! I sent you an email about my next post because I want your approval and editing of it so I make no mistakes. I love this roleplay, it sounds so cool! It's good that characters are sort of like you, it makes it more personal to write: but why did I have to make my charrie hate Anakin? Ahhh! hehehehe
Athéniel Egleriannen - March 18, 2007 10:14 AM (GMT)
Glad you like it :) It's quite hard not to become addicted to any roleplay ^^ I'm still having the so-called 'withdrawal symptoms' from my previous ones :(

They reflect my moods sometimes. I'd write something, and it'd be completely capricious. I remember the last time I took things on my character. I was having a bad day, and I put her through so much anguish... Argh, I regret it now :(
Anyway, now to the timeline. They give you a sense of how time passes so you don't lose track. I hope you'll forgive the fact that I still don't have a very clear idea about when during the Clone Wars this roleplay actually takes place. I do know that it's sort of more than 1.5 years after it begins (so more than halfway through)
EYE OF FELUCIA TIMELINE
Coruscant
Day 1
Evening Leriana visits the café, and meets up with her friend Cimanka.
During this time, Reche Tyalier's minions assault the Temple gates and kidnap several Jedi.
Late evening Leriana returns to the Temple, and encounters Anakin at the hangar bay.
Day 2
Early morning Leriana is visited by Shakiah, who tells her the news about the kidnap.
Mid-morning Leriana and Shakiah attend a Jedi Council, where they are assigned the task of going on a rescue mission to Felucia.
Late morning Afterwards, Leriana sets out to find Kaani and Anakin.
Mid-day Kaani and Leriana find Anakin near the entrance to a block of Senate lodging apartments.
Early afternoon Shakiah discusses tactics at the hangar bay. The party sets out from Coruscant.
Felucia
Day 1
Day time Sheree arrives on Felucia, and meets Dooku and Ventress
Evening Reche and his minions arrive on Felucia. Dooku leaves to join Darth Sidious in his hide-out on Coruscant (we know this, even though it's not mentioned)
Late evening (3 hours later) Rhian awakes and finds himself in a dungeon.
Midnight Sheree visits the dungeon.
Day 2
Morning Reche decides to make a trial run of his experiment. He sets the droids off on the captives.
Mid-morning Reche and Sheree move off, and discuss Sheree's fresh plan about targeting Skywalker.
The droids are defeated, and most of them flee.
Late morning Asajj Ventress, watching from the sidelines, suddenly engages the Jedi. Rhian offers to keep her occupied whilst the others escape.
Nearing mid-day The two wind up in a full-fledged fight involving lightsaber combat.
Mid-day Reche, meanwhile, has left to take care of business, greatly unsettled by the failure of his first batch of Spelunker droids...
That was an attempt at fitting it all in a logical order...

Woah, good timeline thanks for that, i'll feel silly now cause i didn't read it when i just added my post, so my bad heheheehehehehehehehe. I did make it a long one so sorry if it's,long, i hope you enjoy it and i'll talk to you soon :luthien:
Athéniel Egleriannen - March 23, 2007 10:18 AM (GMT)
It was good, I loved the end. Makes me think, 'is she ruthless or just misunderstood?' Anyway, all good except the inconsistency with the timeline. You wrote it happened three days later?! More like two/three hours! Plus, what happened on Coruscant in mid-afternoon, was... impossible, because they had already left by early afternoon... so I think an option would be either to change the part where Jennifer finds them, or move it to earlier that afternoon-- Because the only place where your part fits into the story is before my last post.
sexystarwarslover - April 22, 2007 11:07 PM (GMT)
I LOVED YOUR LAST POST, VERY VERY INTERESTING TURN OF EVENTS.
I liked the part about Reche and what they think he is up to, very crafty and how you made the Jedi help them, even how you made Anakin not want to trust them, staying in character- very good, and these new characters, very good, can't wait for the next post, lol. Will try and work on it this week. :moodswing:
Athéniel Egleriannen - April 23, 2007 11:50 AM (GMT)
It's great you liked it... you have no idea what's in store *evil laugh* :galadrielangry: It's going to be... tumultuous, to say the least. Let's say it involves a very unexpected reunion...
That was a fast post ^^ I lyked Jennifer's memory... very insightful... Glad you took my advice about Obi-Wan's character ;) Heheh, just to quote Leri from my last post, 'If they were lying, we would know.' You're going to have to very clever to outwit people like them ;) The only spot of confusion is, I don't exactly understand why that Senator you mentioned decided to leave the Republic. Very sudden, suspicious thing, wouldn't you say?
sexystarwarslover - April 23, 2007 11:11 PM (GMT)
Thanks for the lovely comment. The memory thing was a last minute adjustment and I'm glad it worked. I'll explain the Senator thing because I had to ask my brother for advice 'cause he is the Star Wars manic in the family, lol. He told me that some Senators were against the Hedi because they were mid-trickers or didn't help them in their hour of need, now that's what jennifer and her friend are trying to tell Obi-Wan- He hasn't really left the Republic only left off planet but some Senators didn't like the Jedi involvement in he Senate as much as the Jedi didn't. I hope that answers your question. Thanks for reading my post, glad you like it and can't wait for yours. [laughs evily]
Athéniel Egleriannen - April 24, 2007 10:53 AM (GMT)
My computer got replaced, 'cause it died of a virus (poor thing), and now the screen's humungous... Awwh, the background doesn't fit the webpage anymore.
I'm not sure I entirely get you, but I do know that that's something I haven't ever thought of before ;) You mean, as in, the Jedi didn't help the Senators in their hour of need and now they don't like the Jedi interfering in their politics? Hahah, not many of them do like politics! They think the whole system is corrupt :D But I guess they have a reason to suspect, what with the so-called Chancellor guy running the Republic. (lol, politics is filled with corruption altogether)
PS. You did say, during the dialogue, 'he left the Republic' ;) And in another spot, you said he was off planet, so which is it? XD
sexystarwarslover - April 25, 2007 09:59 AM (GMT)
Wow, did I say that? Oops lol, sorry about the confusion. I meant to say he's off planet not out of the Republic and to the point, before my brother told me that some senators were left stranded by them or nearly killed but some were borderline nearly with the separatists.
Athéniel Egleriannen - April 25, 2007 11:23 AM (GMT)
*Lowers voice conspirationally* Ssssh, you're not supposed to state the obvious! Of course, all the Senators are technically Separatists anyway. They follow Palpatine for one thing, whether they realise what they're doing or not. The only 'good' Senators around are those like Bail and Padmé... not surprising.
sexystarwarslover - April 28, 2007 10:20 AM (GMT)
Well well well, that was very very good, I can't wait for the fight, when is it? I am desperate- I love writing... I'll start my post tomrrow or sometime in the week. GREAT STORY I LOVED IT, VERY SUSPENSEFUL AND INTRIGUING
sexystarwarslover - May 14, 2007 10:01 AM (GMT)
Well, that was a turn of events wasn't it, just read your post. I only have one thing to say: Where's the fight between my charrie and Anakin? It's not fair! Sorry, I am very impatient at things, but that was really interesting about your character- she loved a dark sider... now the tables have turned hehehehe, kidding! Loved it, look forward to more.
Athéniel Egleriannen - May 15, 2007 12:43 PM (GMT)
I'd be hesitant to call it love in the true sense. Read between the lines-- >D e V i L< I like him for his unpredictable-ness though (doubt that's a word but anyhow).
The other thing-- It's just a fight, stop making a big fuss over it. You remind me of one of those crazy fangirls ;) To be honest, it's probably not going to achieve much, just some temper flares XD
sexystarwarslover - July 28, 2007 04:29 AM (GMT)
Hey there,. just caught the new post, and I am so excited that there is more, yeah!
One point, because in your post, they are caught and brought to the base. Does that mean in my new post, you want me to have a scene where Reche and Ventress and Sheree are informed? In that paragraph, I have a little conversation: Let me know so I continue and change things around. I have started but I just needed to know: 'cause can I write something like that in there, please?
Get back to me wherever you can-
PS. If I didn't say this before- I loved the post, very interesting and cool! Loved where the Naboo and Padmé moment with Anakin thinking about her, aww!
