Title: Greetings

Varsis Sedryn - April 26, 2006 02:59 AM (GMT)
I am here.
-VS

Erelith - April 26, 2006 03:01 AM (GMT)
Hullo, dear Moriquendë.

I didn’t know you had time aside from you-know-who to be proper and make an introduction. Or perhaps this is a once in a blue moon thing?

Varsis Sedryn - April 26, 2006 03:21 AM (GMT)
Well, well, well. Looks like you haven't tired of your hobby of following me around and poking your nose into my business. Not that it's any of yours.

Erelith - April 26, 2006 03:39 AM (GMT)
Why do you linger then? Why not go back to your lovely affairs? I’m sure she’s waiting for a weathered Moriquendë; such as yourself.

If you care so little about my opinions, why is it you even ask in the first place half the time? Is it you like to hear your own ego reinforce itself? Your loyalties stray far more than you know. The Varsis I once knew is just a memory now.

Varsis Sedryn - April 26, 2006 03:41 AM (GMT)
Melodramatic as ever, I see. Quick to anger. You are just like your father, Erelith. Comments such as this make the fact hard to deny.

Erelith - April 26, 2006 03:50 AM (GMT)
Perhaps I wouldn’t have to pester you with my supposed melodrama if your attention wasn’t so duly distracted from more important matters at hand. If you enjoy that, I’m sure I can give you more. If my memory is correct I recall a leave of your absence when I revealed more than a happy note or two in my personality. You never could handle it.

Perhaps you should go back to your perfect life, and let the rest of us bother with the world.

Varsis Sedryn - April 26, 2006 03:52 AM (GMT)
Now you are simply being cruel. Another part of your heredity showing itself.
What would you know of my life? You were far too busy with yours to ever have time for me. I do not know why I bother lending you any of mine. I can't seem to get away....

Erelith - April 26, 2006 03:59 AM (GMT)
Oh, and you don't think your lineage has any bad qualities?

You’re far more stubborn or pig-headed than I will ever be, but at least I’m not dense. You stray your loyalties far more than you know, and not only with me.

Varsis Sedryn - April 26, 2006 04:03 AM (GMT)
Picking at my lineage; that's quite mature of you. After all I have done, I don't know why I even let it under my skin.
Think of what I've done for you before you call me on my 'loyalty', daughter of Meren.

Erelith - April 26, 2006 04:09 AM (GMT)
Well, all's fair in love and war. You choose to pick on my qualities, is it only befitting I do the same? Have I not learned from the best? Yes, it is true you might have saved me on many occasions.

To what end though? You would remorse more if she died than I.

You only had to save me because you were deceiving me at the same time. If I had known...then perhaps things could have been different. I would not have made half the choices I regret now.

Varsis Sedryn - April 26, 2006 04:17 AM (GMT)
In your own anger, you seem to have confused yourself, as well as I. I don't know to whom you are referring, but you should know that the only girl I ever fought for was you. This 'she' you speak of, is a figment of your imagination, for sure.

Erelith - April 26, 2006 04:24 AM (GMT)
I would rather fight on my own accord, thank-you-very-much. You are of course more than welcome to fight for those who are incompetant.

If you are confused it is only for your lack of involvement. Life has it's ups and downs, and you, Varsis, prefer the up's. I would not want to burden you anymore than you do not wish to be already.

Athéniel Egleriannen - April 26, 2006 09:14 AM (GMT)
I do not disagree with either of you, unless this person you speak of is me. Tell me, what has Varsis done that is wrong or worthy of denial, or will you speak in riddles till the missing pieces I seek finally fall into place?

Erelith - April 27, 2006 09:23 PM (GMT)
Being of light, so fair of face
Possessing beautiful, deadly grace
Protector of all that is good and true
A loyal friend with eyes of blue
A lilting word to her eager steed
And they're off to do some noble deed
Evil-doers best beware
This warrior with blackened hair
An archer swift, with aim so sure
Her strength is great, her heart is pure
Skilled with bow, and sword, and knives,
Enemies run for their lives
Straight and true the arrows fly
Death descending from the sky
'Til evil, defeated, returns to the shadow
But when darkness returns, so will this hero.

Fair of Face + Eyes of Blue + Noble + Warrior + Black Hair + Skilled with bow, and sword, and knives = Who are Thurinae's parents?

Once this riddle is figured through, I've no doubt you'll see it true.

Varsis Sedryn - April 28, 2006 10:37 PM (GMT)
I don't quite know of whom she speaks either. She seems touched in the head, if you ask me.
And to answer your earlier insult, at least I have the ability to see the good in life rather than to dwell in it's misery.
