Title: Sindarin First Letter Game
Athéniel Egleriannen - March 30, 2005 09:51 AM (GMT)
This game works simple, and doesn't require knowledge of the language whatsoever (maybe just a little). The idea is to put down a word beginning with the last letter of the previous word. Translate if word is rare/ probably unknown by others. It's a gd way to expand your vocab at the same time :)
K, I'll start with a reeaally well known word...
Osgiliath.

Adar 'father'
(I think that's right *scratches head* or could it be ada? No, I'll leave it at that, correct me if I'm wrong B) Note I only know the word because of the movies... god bless the movies :)... though I have never figured out much of what is said besides, that is, Sindarin-wise :( )

"You have my love, father!" the quote by Arwen? Yes, you're right. Without the a it means 'daddy'. I've manages to translate most of the movie stuff, C o E have got scripts that can sort the random syllables into words.
