hey, well I wasn't too sure where to put this but i thought I should mention it, I normally do so on every site I'm on because it's fairly important...

Well theres this weekend convention type thing that takes place twice a year usually beginning of May and beginning of October. Its called Collectormania, and basically you can meet loads of film stars and TV stars.. from TLOTR to Star Wars to Austin Powers to Buffy the Vampire Slayer to Andromeda etc etc etc.. I mainly go to see TLOTR people!!
It takes place in Milton Keynes Shopping centre - Centre:MK, and Collectormania 7 will be held from Friday 29th April to Monday 2nd May 2005...
The TLOTR cast that will be there this time is: Sean Astin (Sam), John Rhys-Davies (Gimli), Kiran Shan (Frodo Scale double), Bruce Spence (Mouth of Sauron).
From Buffy/Angel if your interested is: James Masters (Spike), Alexis Denisof (Wesley).
There will also be a Star Wars reunion and a Dr. Who reunion along with many other guests....

I went last year to Collectormania 6 - when I got a chance to meet Billy Boyd (Pippin), Thomas Robbins (Deagol), Sala Baker (Sauron and stunts), Royd Tolkien (Tolkiens great grandson), Nathaniel Lees (stunt/uruk hai) and Bob Anderson (Sword Master) - I was sitting next to his wife before I even realised it was Mrs. Anderson!! It was awesome and I would say if you can go then GO!!! its the most craziest experience.... hehe

Collectormania does sound great. It sounds so tempting, and if only i could... But I'll have to wait until they, if they do, come over to this side of the world. Not many conventions happen here.

Collectormania 7 is at the end of this month.. so i'm waiting for it ... but i did go to last years on Sunday 3rd October 2004 ... ahhh.. an unforgettable day!! YAY!! hehe...

Greetings!! i went to Collectormania 7 on Sunday 1st May, with 3 of my friends and it was such an excellent day!! it was better then i could imagine... however it was really packed, and there was LOTS of fans to meet James Masters, soo many in fact that in roughly 30mins, the tickets to cut queues had GONE!!! and sooo many fans could not meet him.. he even had 7 bodyguards surrounding him, i saw him but by the time i had my camera out, i only got the back of his head!! hehe!!
But i had a wonderful time meeting Sean Astin, John Rhys Davies and Bernard Hill, unfortunately i ran out of money :( when i tried to meet Kiran Shan, Lawrence Makoare and Bruce Spence, but i did manage to get some photos of them! YAY!!

i will post a longer review type thing when i have more time!! okay??
Did anyone manage to go for any of the days ??? Friday 29th, Sat 30th, Sun 1st, Mon 2nd ?????
