Title: Favourites...
Description: A Getting to know you game :)

Athéniel Egleriannen - April 15, 2005 12:49 AM (GMT)

How this works is that everyone takes turns in asking favourite questions (eg. fave movie, fave book...)

The point? To get to know small facts about the other people here :)

Favourite movie?

Athéniel Egleriannen - April 18, 2005 09:50 AM (GMT)

err.. do we answer both fav movies and music or just the one question being asked.. i'm guessing its the one question because it could become complicated!! heheh..

Gil_Galad22 - June 14, 2005 11:46 AM (GMT)
" A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day! An hour of wolves and shattered shields when the age of Men comes crashing down but it is not this day! This day we fight! By all that you hold dear on this good earth, I bid you stand, Men of the West!"

Not just copying that, I really do love it. That's my fav quote writen in English, anyway!

(S) (the moon)

favorite LotR culture

That would have to be the elvish culture. I love the elven race in general. Or do you mean race? in which case it would be the same thing :)

Fav lotr couple?

Gil_Galad22 - June 15, 2005 11:04 AM (GMT)
LotR or Middle Earth?
LotR book would have to be Faramir and Eowyn, I can't seem to like Arwen because she's not in the books very much. In the movies Sam and Rosie, just the kissing scene reminds me... OK, I'll shut up now. Rude images springing to mind.

Middle Earth Beren and Luthien.

Fave dramatic ending from any story, book or film?

Hobbity_Goose - June 22, 2005 05:11 PM (GMT)
hmm... generally i dont mind some cliffhangers.. but when a series of books use them too much it does irritate me... but sometimes its fun when a book has a cliffhanger - i like the whole guessing whats going to happen and how.. i like to use my imagination!!

oh.. i remembered a specific-ish moment!! in The Two Towers when Frodo 'dies' and it was a pure moment in which i cried... the whole thing with Sam and everything, i had to stop reading because my eyes had gone blurry!!! even now when i see the film and read that moment... theres lots of moments though when i got teary while reading the book !! hehe... but FRODO LIVES !! _ i have a T-shirt with that on :D :frodoring: :frodo:

I think it was called "Where the Wild things are." I barely remember it, but it was about a boy who ran away after being grounded and lived with the 'wild things' as their king. :)

Oh bother now I have to think up a question. Uhm... Favorite childhood memory? Lol, if that's too personal, then just go with your Favorite fan fic.

Hobbity_Goose - July 27, 2005 08:11 PM (GMT)
fav childhood memory.. errrm, dunno.. i guess: when i was about 6/7 on one of my birthdays - its not really a happy-ish memory/well it is and it isn't, i got annoyed and i stormed out of the room stamping my feet being a spoilt brat, i believe this was recorded on my dads camera, and my best friend came running after me, i pushed him as i hid my face, but he clung on to my arm. and theres more to it now-a-days because i don't see him as much as i would've liked to have of!! hmm..... OH>>> another one with my best friend when were about 14/15 (couple of years ago now) every sunday around about 1.30/2 in the afternoon we went to our local shopping center, never buying anything but we had the greatest time!! it was odd....hmm... ahh those days were great, no exams... heehee... sorry about rambling on!!!

Athéniel Egleriannen - October 25, 2005 07:41 AM (GMT)

It's nice to relive your childhood memories *smiles* I had so much fun when I was in primary school that I almost miss it :(
Ok, let's revive this thread again! Not sure I have a favourite cartoon character, but maybe tweety. He's cwute :)

Favourite piece of jewellry that you own?
(This is a random piece of info, but I found a silver chain, or something like it, lying around the house last week, and out of insanity, hung my silver ring from it. heheh preciouss... It looks remotely like the Ring, if you use your imagination XD but then I watched Baz Luhrmann's version of Romeo and Juliet and realised that that ring I have is exactly the same as the one they used in the movie, chain and everything, except for the script on it, which says something different. Odd indeed. It's my precious no more... :crying: :oddlook: )
