Title: Golden Pigeon Inn - Discussion
Description: B)

Athéniel Egleriannen - June 14, 2005 12:13 PM (GMT)

The Inn needs a few people, or just one or two, to play Fard and/ or his two helpers (see thread for details about the inn), so that they can keep the place in order, attend to costumer orders- food, drink and rooms to stay, keep the general commotion going, greet visitors and travellers stopping to stay for the night, and in all general... run the place :)

If you'd like to become a staff member, please post :)

Hobbity_Goose - July 13, 2005 07:37 PM (GMT)
Err, just wondering if the position was still open for staff members that sort of thing... I won't be able to post frequently every 2/3 days is my sort of time range, but with summer hols coming up for me i'll be able to post a little more frequently..

If you do please pm me or leave a message on here and i'll be happy enough to help - the more experience i get in a role play the better as i've only been in a few!!!

thank you :D B)

We should start a new roleplay or two. I'd really enjoy getting in on that. Hehe. My wood elf hates dark elves....should be interesting. (Well, she's majorly distrustful of them.)

Athéniel Egleriannen - July 14, 2005 10:08 AM (GMT)

If you'd like to start a new Roleplay, Erelith- Go ahead! I'm sure people will gladly join  It would also be pretty great if either of your characters enters 'Abandoned Ways' :) But that's going to be on standby till Becky comes back (her character's major to the plot), but keep in mind till then that the thread's always open to new people!
It would be great to have you join the staff, Lucy :) You can take over any of the roles of Fard, Dimple or Haysend. At the moment, I'm playing Dimple and Haysend at the Inn, because, as there are no staff, anyone can play them, but if you like, I'll hand either of those two over to you, and/ or you can play Fard as well if you like (who is currently taking care of visitors downstairs while the other two attend to Erelith :) ). I'll let you choose.

Erelith - July 14, 2005 10:35 AM (GMT)
Lol, don't encourage me. You'll end up with like twenty-thousand topics to post in. That's what happened to my forum. B)

Athéniel Egleriannen - July 15, 2005 06:55 AM (GMT)

Tehe. That's why more people would do good. But if there are too many threads I can always stick them on standby till people join :)

Hobbity_Goose - July 18, 2005 03:41 PM (GMT)
hey, errr, after re-reading, do you mind if i'm Haysend????

i'll wait until you post a reply then i'll add to the RPG!!!

Athéniel Egleriannen - July 19, 2005 10:26 AM (GMT)

Sure, you can play Haysend :) I'll stick with Dimple then. Is that all you wanted to play, or do you want to be Fard as well? Jump right on in after you've chosen ^_^ We could do with someone extra.

Do you think I should write a bio for Melethron? I mean he is dead, but I figured maybe in a earlier age he'd be still in Middle-Earth. Heh, I won't get mushy with him and Erelith, rather quite the contrary. I'd have to say they're in denial about it most of the time. (even though they're very close friends.)

Athéniel Egleriannen - July 21, 2005 11:12 AM (GMT)

Yeh, you should, that would be interesting. We'd gain more of an idea of this character that Erelith seems to care so much about. I thought you said he passed across the sea? I know that can be seen as death, but I see it more that his spirit's left mortal bounds, but it still lives in Valinor, so he's not death as such as if it were trapped in Mandos' halls... Okay, I'm babbling.
Aww *looks disappointed* I thought they were lovers, as in, who shared something special. I see that isn't the case. When you first mentioned him, I immediately got the idea they were star-crossed lovers, and I was kind of right :( They should be in denial, then at the very very end, finally realise that's not the way to go. But do it how you like, they're your characters. Just throwing across some odd ideas of mine

Erelith - July 21, 2005 03:20 PM (GMT)
Hehe, I know Valinor isn't death, it's somewhat of a symbol of it though. Hehe, I've written the post in advance, because it's a little long, but Erelith does get to say a last goodbye. B) I'm not that mean... Eh, Erelith's relationship is quite odd with him actually, they're like best friends, but pick on each other as if brother and sister, so they're constantly annoying the crap outta each other ;) A little before he goes to Valinor (I think something will happen where he just knows it's going to happen to him.) I think he'll come around.

I've just never been good at anything majorly sappy ;)

Athéniel Egleriannen - July 25, 2005 08:01 AM (GMT)

Well that should be pretty exciting xD I can't wait to hear more about em. Now they remind me of hobbits somehow  I've never written any soppy romances either, yet anyway, but maybe, just maybe, that might be my next project ;) You will not believe how much easier it is to write a mad spoof than anything else.
I'm crossing over to the actual thread now...

Erelith - July 25, 2005 02:05 PM (GMT)
Oh ...the whole romance thing between them, is sort of an on off thing...alot. lmao.

Erelith - July 29, 2005 08:57 PM (GMT)
Awwh, in regards to your last post I made this thread. I've been having this scene of her death run through my mind...like all week. I don't want to give it away, but there's a part near the end where she'll be needing some, er...help to put it vaguely. I was wondering if one of your characters Atheniel would be willing to help? XD

(In regards to posting I haven't quite figured it out yet if she will stay or go. I am kind of stuck on either choice but leaning toward staying, just don't know how to get her to stay. She wouldn't be swayed so easily by just a few words.)

Edit: Perhaps I will have her leave, to the outside and then get caught off guard by the elf waiting for her, only to retreat back inside alot worse than she was? Hm. Can I say Angst?

Athéniel Egleriannen - August 23, 2005 06:24 AM (GMT)

What sort of help would she be needing? You mean, to provoke, cause or plan her death, or am I completely off track with what you're thinking?
She seems to have quite a few enemies, but we don't know who they are or how they're connected to her :S You're ultimately the one who's going to choose, so pick something out of a hat and... choose? Just to my enquiring mind... are you thinking a terrible gruesome death, or a peaceful one, like sailing on a ship, maybe?
There was already a OOC thread for the Inn... but maybe you've forgotten about it. I merged them together. And just a reminder, OOC threads belong in the here, not the main Roleplaying threads ^_^
