Just found out somewhere that Orli’s filming two sequels to Pirates of the Caribbean along with Johnny Depp and Kierra Knightley. Yay! I can’t wait, I hope it comes out sune. They’re going to be great. Considering they took… 50 years (well maybe not that long) to make the Curse of the Black Pearl from the original potc movie, its definitely good. Or was that just the theme park ride? Has anyone actually seen it, the first first potc??

Nope, never saw another PotC movie. I thought it was just based on the ride at Disney World. But I could be wrong.

I just hope that the sequels turn out good. Too often, really good movies have really stupid sequels. Unless the writers start out to do more than one movie (LotR, Star Wars, Back to the Future, etc.), they sometimes don't do well trying to tie the two together. The effects aren't always good.

But one can hope! *crosses fingers*

Sure hope it turns out as good as the first one :P Not all unplanned sequels are bad, and I guess that's really the director's job, to make it all tie in. It should be good, and I don't somehow think potc was to start out as just one movie, but that's an idea I got somewhere along the way...

I think it'll all be next year, though, so there's still awhile to wait.

I think the second POTC is called: Pirates of the Carribean: Dead mans Chest.

not certain of the plot line yet - looks like it could be out in 2006.

POTC 3 - looks set for 2007, so quite awhile yet

Looks pretty good. From what I know about it, the second one's going to have a curse in the plot that Jack Sparrow owes a blood debt to Davey Jones and is cursed to be part of his crew, and Will and Elijabeth somehow join in with the fray as well. Can't wait!

Hm I heard a nasty rumor Jack would be killed, but tha'ts not logical. Why ruin a good fan base? :D besides, my friend would murder the writer of that script herself.(so she tells me XD)

Weell, I don't think she'll be the only person! It'll be basically almost everyone who likes PotC! They can't murder Jack... at least, not in the second one. But in the third movie, I don't know. The fate of his life lies in the film makers' hands. I don't like the thought of that...

I could just imagine that too... like all the times I was at the cinema and something came up, and everyone in the cinema had the same reaction as me. Except this will be all the girls. Don't know who has more fangirls chasing after him these days, Johnny or Orli ;)

Lol, I don't have much of a thing for Orlando, and I'm sure Orlando only has younger fan girls. Johnny, since he's alot older has young and old fan girls after him I bet. (haha I did a typo and wrote ganfirls instead of fangirls. That's what I get for just waking up.)

Not necessarily yer know 8-) One of my friends is obsessed with Johnny Depp and the another's head over heels in love with Orli. tehe. I think they're both pretty awesome, but shouldn't really be compared as such. One's done a myriad of movies, the good and the bad, and one's relatively new to the acting scene. Not to mention the age gap (But you all know who I wuv. These two would have to come second B) ). And a random fact from me for the day... my friend, the Johnny obsessed one, went to a modelling agency for a bit and got to talk to someone who babysat Johnny when he was a kid.

PotC is based on a ride at disney land, but it's still an awsome film.
One of my dad's work colleges loves Orli, and she's not a young girl. But she does like jonny as well (and who wouldn't)

PotC 2 looks so GOOD! I saw some piccies (potential spoilers, but didn't tell too much) from the movie, before they got forced to be taken off a site for something like releasing them before the movie was released. I love it already XD
Random piece of info from me: They're filming the movie right now, as we (or I) speak, and Orli had his Will hairdo in when he came to do this interview on some show I don't remember the name of. He's such a bubbly person ^_^

Yeah, my friend kept trying to tell me there was a movie made, something like 50 years ago, which the ride was actually based off. I have no idea whether there was one :(

i did see some thing like around the 30th June 2006 ... but that could of changed... Its going to be around that time though end of june/begin to mid of july...!!! ^_^ , yay, i can't wait for it to come out!!!!

I think the film looks great, very funny. You couldn't kill off Jack, it would mean killing off most of the humour.

I saw the trailer a week or so ago, and loved it! Personally, I don't think Jack'll die, but we shall see. There's not much chance him dying in the Dead Man's Chest, but the next one, I don't know... it will be the end, anything can happen. I hope it's released soon... ^_^

This is a crime, no one has mentioned Pirates 2 since it came out weeks and weeks ago, it seems. Has anybody seen it? I've been reading PotC comics *cackles*. They're making a triiiilogy, they're making a trilogy! Which is awesome news, because arguably, the best movies are always trilogies ;)

Yup I've now seen it about 3 weeks after its release! I'm so glad I did manage to see it, its brilliant! I love POTC - I couldn't believe they did that though. But the thing is I kinda of thought Oh. But for me it wasn't very shocking because I already knew theres gonna be a third film to end it, so I thought, well he can't really be dead then! I can't believe Elizabeth - kissing jack behind wills back - I was shocked and thought you evil woman!

Yup I can agree with you there TRILOGIES ROCK! However the second film can be a bit of a let down. I think it can be difficult to make the second movie because you've got the brilliant first movie, no one has seen before and the ending is always amazing and the second one is kind of an inbetween hit and miss. However, TLOTR is meant to be ONE film and The Two Towers is BRILLIANT, I love it so much and the story just keeps flowing without a break. ^_^ but you knew that I would saw TLOTR is an exception, however I can think of other films where the second film is just as good as the first and the final one! :yesnod:
