Wave Background(lost the image so no preview)
Ok,first of all, open a canvas that is 500x500px.The canvas should be white, your choice, but we'll use white for the tutorial.

1 : After having your canvas, use the pencil tool and set your pencil to sizes 3 to 1,anywhere between that, and start to scribble on the canvas, until you get a 50/50 portion of black and white.(oh!name it BG1)

2 : After scribbling,go to filter>blur>radial blur and set the settings to amount:100 method:zoom Quality:Best and click ok.You'll now have a zoomed in picture!..loL!

3 : Duplicate that layer(name it BG2) and set the blending mode to multiply. Then use CTRL+T and right click, and rotate it 90 degree CW,and merge it.

4 : Now go to Filter>Stylize>find edges. If you think it looks nice that way,you can leave it..BUT we wont stop there!lol

5 : Then,go to Filter>Distort>Polar Cor.And set it to polar to rectangular.Dont they now look like hair??lol!

6 : Now go to Sketch>chrome and set everything to max and click ok.It might look weird but hey!its how i experiment..lol

7 : Go to filter>brush stroke>crosshatch and leave everything at default then ok.

8 : Now go to distort>wave and follow this settings.
Number of generators:705
WaveLenght:Min:626/Max:705
Amplitude:Min:1/Max:1
Scale:Both Min and Max to 100
Type:Sine
Undefined Areas:Repeat edge pixels
After you set them,click ok.

9 : Duplicate that layer and set the blend mode to darken and merge it and name it BG.

10 : Almost done.Go back to filter>stylize>fine edges and then click on and press CTRL+U(check colourize) and set your color. You can add in extra stuff like grids,text..ect.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

dunno what this is called..loL!
First, open a 500x500 canvas or any size that is 100x100 bigger then the normal size of your original canvas.

Secondly,reset your colors(Ctrl+D) and go to filter>render >clouds.then go to filter>render>difference cloud.Press Ctrl 4 trice.

After that you'll see something like lightning. Now Filter>texture>stained glass.use this settings
Cell Size - 2
Border Thickness - 1
Light intensity - 10
If you get things right, you'll end up with something like this.but we're not done yet.

Now,duplicate that layer and go to Filter>distort>polar co-ordinates and use polar to rectangular. Now go Filter>distort>Wave and use this settings.
Generators - 10
Wave Length - Min 104 Max 481
Amplitude - Min. 122 max 122
Scale is both at 100.duplicate this layer and press
Undefined areas - Repeat edge pixels
CTRL+T and click on flip horizontal.set the blending mode to lighten or screen.but we'll go for screen for this tutorial. Its your choice though. Now merge it with the layer below.(NOT the first layer with the stained glass bg).

Again,go to flter>distort>polar cor. and rectangular to polar. Now you'll get a odd orb thingy..lolx..Set the blending mode to lighten. This time,go to Filter>liquify and play around with the tools until you are sastified. You can always press Ctrl+Z if you dont like the look of the liquified piece. Now the finish touch.

Go to Filter>distort>wave and use the following settings.
Generators - 1
Wavelength - Min 216 max 677
Amplitude - Min 299 Max 495
Undefined areas - Wrap around
Scale - 100 for both.

Now merge all the layers and use Ctrl+U to add some color. And you're done!
