Title: Bucs 28 - Steelers 23
Description: There Can Only Be One

The coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers said There Can Only Be One at the beginning of the season and it has finally come to fruition.

A very game Steelers squad came into the Super Bowl ready to shock the world. And with the first play of the game took an arrant pass by Tim Rattay to the house for an early 7 - 0 lead. The Bucs answered back with a good drive to tie the game 7 - 7. That took the game to half time.

With only the second play of the second half the Bucs defense got a defensive TD of their own after a fumble by a Pittsburg RB (Bucs 14 - Pitt 7). The Steelers were not shaken by the fumble and put together a good drive of their own to tie the game 14 - 14. It would only take 1 pass to Michael Clayton for a 72 yard TD reception to give the Bucs a 21 - 14 lead. The Bucs defense stood strong and gave the ball back to the offense to put the game out of reach. Tampa moves down the field with ease using the run and the pass but another Tim Rattay errant pass almost leads to a 80 yard INT for a TD but the fast feet of Joey Galloway catches the defender at the Buccaneer 9 yard line (play of the game).

The defense holds the Steelers to a FG. (Bucs 21 - Pitt 17). Pittsburg holds their ground and get the ball back again. Pitt moves down the field well and scores on a big 3rd down play from the Buc 10 yard line but nerves get to the kicker and he misses the PAT. (Bucs 21 - Pitt 23).

With 3 mins left in the game and only a FG away from winning the Bowl the Bucs played like the champions they are. Within 60 seconds the Bucs are in field goal range but decide not to try to waist clock but to force the ball down the Steelers throat and punch it in for a TD. Leaving 1:30 seconds on the clock for the Steelers to try to get the go ahead score. The Steelers gave it a good go but fell short when a pass was batted down at the Bucs 7 yard line just as the clock struck 0.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers go undefeated in two straight seasons and crowned 40 Nickel Champ again.
