NickelBacks this is where we'll be keeping track of tournament points and player rankings. Below is a description of the Point Tracker and how it works.

Tournament Point Tracker

The Tournament Point Tracker will be used as a way to track points you accumulate while playing in 40 Nickel Madden Community Sanction Tournaments. For now points will only be accumulated while participating in Madden. In the future point values from NBA, Tiger Woods, and NCAA Tournaments could be added to the tracker as well.

Another purpose for the Tournament Point Tracker is to allow us to seeds into place for each tournament that we’re providing for the community. The more points you accumulate, the higher your rank on the Tracker, the higher your ranked that better seed your going to receive in tournaments. The higher your seed is, the better first round draws you’ll get or even a possible bye as well.

You’re probably asking yourself, how are point accumulated? Here’s how it works. Every coach that participates in a 40 Nickel Madden Community Sanction Tournament, and completes a first round game in said tournament will receive one (1) point. For every win that you rack up in each Tournament, you’ll receive two (2) points. Finally for each tournament that you conquer and win, you’ll receive (3) points. (The above-mentioned point values only hold true for standard formatted tournaments. Uniquely formatted tournaments such as the Madden Virtual Fighter will have their our point value system, which will over rule the standard values.)

Here is an example possible point you could earn for participating in and winning a tournament: (This is an example of possible tournament, but is not a standard point value for each tournament held.)

As you can see, point can add up rather quickly within each tournament. The further you advance the more point you acquire, the better your seed for the next tournament.

The first tournament we’ll use the Point Track for will be the CJ’s Gunslinger Tournament. Results and point value will be posted after completion of each round. Overall point values will be added to the Point Tracker at the completion of the tournament.
