I screwed up my own name when I was 12 I had it changed. I feel so stupid now..... Everybody calls me by my birth name anyway.

My aunt was overly creative. Which is why I got a sucky second name.

Sucky second name? My middle name is JAMES...... and I'm a girl. >< I have a pretty cool character name, list, though, at least to start with. My dad's a huge geneaology buff, so I just sat down with him one day and copied down all the really cool, insanely old names, like friggin' middle ages. Besides having the distinction of being related to a double royal bastard, I also had an ancestor named "Zoltan."

my second name, Rachel, is another word for Talle - male lamb, while my first name, Talya, is the sister of the Talle - female lamb :P

actually, Talya is also the dew of god, which I'm guessing most moms were aiming at when naming their girls so :P

but I like the lamb part more :P
and in any case, I pronounce it differently (TAL-ya as opposed to tal-YA, and that makes a lot of difference... mine is softer :P)
