Title: How observant are you
Description: I got 19 out of 27

Sapphira Calren - June 21, 2005 02:10 PM (GMT)
I got this as a forward from a friend, who was quite proud to have gotten 15 right. See what you can do. :)

A little fun for you when you have the time... ;)

NO LOOKING AROUND THE ROOM... NO LOOKING AROUND ON YOUR DESK...

This is based on U.S. & CDN info, so use all lobes of your brain. This can be more difficult than it looks - it just shows how little most of us really see. There are 27 questions about things we see every day or have known about all our lives. How many can you get right?

No getting out of your chair! No using anything on or in your desk or computer! Can you beat 15?? (The average person only gets 7.)

Write down your answers and then check your answers (on the bottom) ONLY AFTER completing all the questions. That means no looking at your phoneor anything on your desk.

LET'S JUST SEE HOW OBSERVANT YOU REALLY ARE.

1. On a standard traffic light, is the green on the top or bottom?

2. How many states are there in the USA?

3. In which hand is the Statue of Liberty's torch?

4. What six colors are on the classic Campbell's soup label?

5. What two numbers on the telephone dial don't have letters by them?

6. When you walk does your left arm swing with your right or left leg?

7. How many matches are in a standard pack?

8. On the United States flag is the top stripe red or white?

9. What is the lowest number on the FM dial?

10. Which way does water go down the drain, counter or clockwise?

11. Which way does a "no smoking" sign's slash run?

12. How many channels on a VHF TV dial?

13. On which side of a women's blouse are the buttons?

14. Which way do fans rotate?

15. What is on the back of a Canadian dime?

16. How many sides does a stop sign have?

17. Do books have even-numbered pages on the right or left side?

18. How many lug nuts are on a standard car wheel?

19. How many sides are there on a standard pencil?

20. Sleepy, Happy, Sneezy, Grumpy,Dopey, Doc. Who's missing?

21. How many hot dog buns are in a standard package?

22. On which playing card is the card maker's trademark?

23. On which side of a Venetian blind is the cord that adjusts the opening between the slats?

24. On the back of a Canadian $1 coin, what is in the center?

I counted 19 right for myself, but if you want to get really technical, I only got 18. I said that the lowest FM number was 88.1, since the radios only do odd decimals, so I counted it right. :) Either way, that's better than what most people get, apparently. :)

Eighteen. Some of the questions left me sitting there for three minutes going . . ."Huh?" The money questions were cool since my mom comes from Canada, and I luffed the Seven Dwarf quesion. I like trivia. So yeah. I got 18.

I totally missed how many sides a pencil had and where the FM question. :ph43r:

I got 21.

what was with the canadian money questions?...i've never been to Canada before, so i had no idea on those ones.

Sapphira Calren - June 22, 2005 01:11 AM (GMT)
Wow, very impressive. :) I've been to Canada once, to Niagra falls, years ago, but here it's not rare to see Canadian money. I just never paid attention to it. :P Where are you from?

Karena Tomika - June 22, 2005 02:51 AM (GMT)
California.

I guess i've probably seen Canadian money before...but all i can remember seeing is the pennies. so i dont know what anything else looks like. :P

Cayana Alhi - June 22, 2005 09:33 AM (GMT)
13/27 (of which I could have answered only 20 (by looking around my room and such) in the first place unless asking an american/canadian/using the net :P) When will I learn not to take these quizes :P

Sapphira Calren - June 22, 2005 02:41 PM (GMT)
Well, Cayana, concidering that you could answer only 20, here you go: I worked it out, 15/27 is like a 55.56% but 13/20 is a 65%. :)

Freyja Annolyn - June 22, 2005 05:37 PM (GMT)
I got thirteen too, but as Cayana, I'm not from States so there was about twenty questions I could have known the answer to. So 13/20.

Marian Skylas - June 22, 2005 06:52 PM (GMT)
18.5/27

I didn't get all the colors on the Campbell's soup. I didn't know how many matches were in a standard pack. I didn't know what the lowest number of the FM dial was or the other channels one... I didn't know either of the Canadian ones or the lug nuts. I forgot the # button on the telephone, and I thought merry-go-rounds went clockwise. :P

Aloria - June 23, 2005 06:54 PM (GMT)
