Just a simple question, regarding the oath rod. I know this rp takes place years after Al'Thor, so also after the discovery that the oath rod is the reason why Aes Sedai live shorter than other female channelers.
Now my question, is it still in use in this RPG?
Yes, both Aes Sedai and Asha'man take one Oath, to speak no word that is untrue. The Aes Sedai are given the option of retiring into the Kin, and unswearing the Oath, if they so wish.
By the way, are Asha'man given that option too? I mean, I know it doesn't say anything about them getting shortened lives because of the Oath Rod, but... :blink: Sorry... Questions...
They have the same opprotunity, but not with the Kin.
