Title: A New Arrangement...
Description: attn: Avielle

Brynnah - August 25, 2005 03:54 AM (GMT)
Brynnah hurried through the halls of the Tower, dropping curtsies every now and then as the rules demanded. She had that funny feeling that everyone was watching her, as if she had the word "prank" written all over her forehead, but that of course, was pure nonsense. No one but Avielle knew what was going on in her mind at the moment. Trying not to look as though she was hurrying too much, or as if anything was out of the ordinary, she made her way to the library. Avielle was to meet her there a few minutes later, so they wouldn't be seen arriving together- just in case anyone was paying attention.

She slipped in through the novice door, and looked around for a moment. With a soft sigh of relief she noticed that there was indeed, almost no one there. "May I help you?" she suddenly heard a voice ask. She almost jumped, before she realized it was only the Brown Sister behind the desk. Making a flawless curtsy, she replied, "No thank you Aes Sedai. I only need to write down some notes for one of my classes." Hopefully, that sounded convincing enough- Brynnah knew that she had certainly been to the library enough times already for that purpose.

Moving on down through the library, she entered one of the rows. It was strategicly placed for her purposes; out of sight of the Aes Sedai, but located where she could see the novice door, and who came in and out. She pretended to browse through the various book titles, keeping an eye out for Avielle.

Finally, after what seemed a very long time, although it was in reality only a few minutes, she saw her walk in through the door. Brynnah was in plain sight of the door, so as Avielle walked in, she should have seen her. She waited for her to approach. This was going to be an interesting evening!

Avialle Verais - August 30, 2005 05:00 PM (GMT)
((Sorry this took me so long, it's been really hectic around here this week!))

Avialle followed Brynnah at a discreet distance until they reached the library, then she waited while the other novice went in. She counted to one hundred under her breath, trying to look like she had a reason to be loitering around in the halls in case an Aes Sedai should appear, then entered the library. Her eyes widened as she took in the rows upon rows of books. She hadn't even comprehended the number of books in a library as big as this, and she began to realize just what they were dealing with by rearranging some of the labels. She had the sinking feeling that if the Aes Sedai ever found out that she and Brynnah were behind this they would be in big trouble.

Nonetheless, it was too late to get cold feet now, so Avialle swallowed her nervousness and looked for Brynnah. There was a desk to the right of her, where an Aes Sedai sat, looking at her coolly. "Can I help you with something?" The woman asked. Avialle felt frozen for a moment; what had Brynnah said to say? Oh yes...

"No, thank you Aes Sedai." She said as she curtsied. "I simply need to look something up for a class." The Aes Sedai nodded and went back to the book she was reading. Avialle nearly sighed aloud with relief, but she fought the impulse and instead headed into the stacks. She only had to go down a row or two before she spotted Brynnah, who was waiting for her. "There you are!" She said in a whisper. "This place is enormous." Glancing around at all of the books, she looked back at Brynnah and said, "Now, where do we start?"
