Rita is possibly coming to town, and I don't plan on being here when she arrives. They have just activated the emergecny systems and we'll have evacuations starting tomorrow, mandatories starting on Wednesday unless she changes paths. I'll probably be leaving Thursday evening if nothing changes, maybe Friday morning. Until that time, I'll be making preparations and helping with whatever needs to be done, so I may or may not be around much, just when I had hoped to get back into RPing!

I really cannot wait for 2005 to end, I swear this year has been such a disaster.

Awwww, thats okay. We've missed you a lot and now it looks like we'll have to miss you more. But RL is more important than this, so you do whatever you need to do, and we'll still all be here when you come back! :hug

Catagory 4! This is insane, waiting lines for generators, stores selling out of everything imaginable. We're finishing up our plans to get out, either tonight or tomorrow morning. I think we'll be heading straight past San Antonio and staying gone til everything is back to normal here. It was somewhat funny this morning, that the lights were out on the way to work already, and the storm is nowhere near us yet.

This is probably one of the wierdest things I've been through now, knowing this is coming and having to prepare. When Allison came through, we had no warning of it causing the disaster it did, but this one is so different.

mm, well I know what you mean. I'll be in San Antonio this weekend, which seems to be the days that Rita is going to hit. If I'm not back on and such, its because of power outages from the bitch Hurricane. *rolls eyes* If I was god, i would smite the frickin Huricane. Anyway, maybe ill randomly see you in passing as you go through Myara. :P

....there might be power outages and such in San Antonio this weekend? o.O;; Fuck, I have crappy timing to come home for the weekend. -_- Actually, I probably won't have any internet connectivity anyway... not like I've been Sir Posts-a-lot or anything.... *sigh* I have to go do Design homework now. And then the lesson post I've said I was gonna do for tha past few weeks...

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I'm back, that was fun, in a chaotic sort of way. We didn't make it out of town, heh. We sat in one place on the freeway for about 3 hours, moving all of 2 miles and decided that we'd be out of gas before we made it anywhere useful, so we turned around and watched the storm. Fortunately for us, the storm turned, so we got a good wind storm and some rain. The city had about 500,000 without power, but my place, where we lose power in a spring shower never lost it. We lost cable well after the fact, which was funny, for 4 hours, then 2 hours the next day. Six days off is what it amounted to, and a lot of sweeping and cleaning leaves and small branches up. My place looked like a bunker with all the stuff we put up against the windows and the gallon bottles of water all over the floor, as well as the two tons of food we prepared and packaged up for rations!

Anyways, I'm back, but I have 4 days of work to catch up on, then I'll get some writing done. Miss y'all!
