It's been revealed to us that the lost talent of "milking tears" can heighten the emotions of others. Fear being an emotion, this sounds almost like one of the weaves that Moirane (sp?) employs in New Spring. This weave is dubbed a secret weave of the Blue Ajah, although it sounds like a "broken" form of milking tears, much like Verin's "broken" form of compulsion.

Another thing would be what Verin does while helping Perrin fight the whitecloaks and trollocs in the Two Rivers. At one point, (in reference to healing), Verin states "My talents lie elsewhere". In just a matter of chapters, she is weaving saidar on rocks so that they explode upon contact. Explosion = fire, Rocks = Earth. Earthfire????

So was Moirane using some form of Milking tears? Was Verin weaving Earthfire? hmm....

Can't help with the Milking Tears and Moirane, but I do know that making rocks explode is not the same as Spinning Earthfire.

Spinning Earthfire is a Talent that primarily involves bringing molten rock up to the surface. Making things explode is something just about all Asha'man are trained to do in the books, so that wouldn't really be considered a Talent by my mark....
