Title: Dolon's Quarters (al'N'Dore al'Mordero)
Description: Halls of Shen al'N'Dore al'Mordero

Dolon Taravin - September 16, 2004 03:59 AM (GMT)
Dolon took one last glance down the hallway before entering his quarters. The floors and walls were polished to the point where they almost radiated their own light. It was well lit with gilded sconces, no doubt having to be replaced quite often. At this late hour not many would be roaming the halls. He opened the heavy door and unburdened himself of his belongings. Taking a look around the large sitting room, a smile crossed Dolon’s face. Reminds me so much of home, he thought to himself. There was a pitcher of wine already on his desk. With a satisfied grin, Dolon filled up a cup and drank. Back in the sitting room, a long table sat arrayed with high-backed cushioned chairs. Covering the floor underneath them was a fine Tairin Rug. Most of the furniture in his quarters was fit for a King, imported from various countries, it was an appealing display.

On his desk was a note that read:

Rei Dolon,

Congratulations on your new position in Shen al’N’Dore al’Mordero. I expect you will handle the position with ease. After you are settled in I would like an audience with you.

- M’haal –

Dolon placed the note in an empty drawer and went to the bedroom. The four-post bed had intricately carved figures and symbols on the posts and the headboard. At the foot of the bed sat his large chest full of valuables and other miscellaneous things of his. The linens were made of a fine silk, as well as the pillows. Opening a window to let in the breeze, Dolon settles himself on the windowsill and opened his book, Comments and Excerpts on the Age of Legends, to him the most fascinating subject of study.
