So, if any of you have been reading the bios forum recently, or have been paying attention to the large influx of people who have recently joined…you might be saying to yourselves something along these lines, “WTF, THAT’S AGAINST THE RULES, WHO ARE THEY!??!?!?!”
Well, thank you to all of you who did report them to me, but you have nothing to worry about. Everything here is completely legal and we will be happy to explain why as soon as Lucius makes his first IC post. Just make sure to read it, it should be interesting.

As you’ve all certainly noticed, lately there’s been an influx of, well, interesting characters. Thank you for your concern, but as we’ve said, it’s completely legal this time, and now it’s finally time for you to learn why!
Some of you have probably heard of a RP site called Beginning of the End, created by our very own Resolute. Well, unfortunately, though it had a great basis, it was one of the many that didn’t work as well as hoped. So, recently it was decided that the site would close, but Res had the idea of a “merge.” We talked it over, and decided that it could actually be written in fairly easily, it would present some very interesting RP opportunities, and it would save many people from losing their characters. So, here’s what we came up with:
First some BotE backstory: The storyline at BotE was written that the Last Battle had already been fought, but it was never really finished, because the Dragon Reborn wasn’t there, and though the Light armies kept the Dark One in his prison, they didn’t achieve anything. So, BotE was set in the stage of limbo, waiting for the Dragon to come again, or for the Dark One to destroy the world. In this world, Aes Sedai and Asha’man were enemies, the Asha’man lived in the Stone of Tear, and the Aes Sedai in Tar Valon, and one of each faction’s main objectives was to wipe the other out of the Pattern.
When we decided to close it down, we decided to basically skip forward in the world’s history, right to the second Last Battle, Aes Sedai and Asha’man temporarily reconciled for the fight. During this battle, a PortalStone was caught by a stray weave, and unexpectedly activated. Everyone on or around it was transported to the Fusion world, and you can see how that goes in the RPs.
For the sake of ranks, here’s a quick overview:
BotE Asha’man- Alantin d’ma Aman (Brothers of the Dragon)
Aes Sedai- Dar d’ma Aman (Sisters of the Dragon
Gaidin/Gaidar- Algai d’ma Aman (Fighters of the Dragon)
And all of them collectively- Marath Logoth (those who must be in waiting)
They will have an IC rank a step above Accepted/Dedicated/Recruit, but a step below Aes Seda/Asha’man/Gaidin (remember the “raisings” in Salidar in the books? It’s like that).
So, find yourself a Marath Logoth and work out a plot!
