Title: Reporting (Mistress of Novice's office)

Fianna - September 19, 2004 07:58 PM (GMT)
OOC: Yeah I knew I would get into trouble for the post in the Pratice yards LOL

Fianna walked into the Mistress of Novices office she bowed and said "I have been sent by the Rei al'Doon m'Taal. Aes Sedai" No honor she would show him who it was without honor.

Cayana Alhi - September 19, 2004 08:16 PM (GMT)
((OOC: yupp, but please, I know you can rp better then that *points up*))

Yet an other novice walked though her door. This one was Fianna, an Aiel. Since learning there were Aiel in the ranks Cayana had taken to find out as much about their culture as possible. Besides stories about their superiority in battle and how they treated outsiders there wasn't much to be found. She knew they followed something called Ji'e'toh, but there wasn't anything on how it worked. They ways of the Aiel were the ways of the Aiel, they didn't share it.

After a quick bow Fianna aired why she was there. "I have been sent by the Rei al'Doon m'Taal. Aes Sedai" The Rei...! "And what in the name of the light were you doing on the training yard, child?" Cayanas voice was sharp as a knife, she knew very well why the girl was there. Aiel just seemed to have a problem not fighting, where better to fight then the training yard.

Fianna - September 19, 2004 08:41 PM (GMT)
"And what in the name of the light were you doing on the training yard, child?" Fianna blinked wasn't it clear why she had been there? She answered

"I was there to fight Aes Sedai. No matter what anyone else says Aes Sedai I always fight with honor. " She bowed her head again and said "What punishment will you have me do?" Scrub floors, was she going to get beaten with the strap? Fianna almost smiled at that thought. She had been hurt far worse then anything the wetlander woman could do to her with a strap. She wondered why the strap held so much fear for the other girls your punishment was over quickly granted sometimes the girls couldn't sit happily for awhile but that was really a small price to pay. Fianna thought. You had no hilimiation or anything. She remembered one of her punishments from her mentor in the Maidens. That was terrible but she had deserved the public display of hililation. She waited for the Mistress to speak again and tel her what to do. I wish I had my sisters of the Spear here. She missed them but honor bound her here. So much for having no honor she thought bitterly

Cayana Alhi - September 20, 2004 06:10 AM (GMT)
"I was there to fight Aes Sedai. No matter what anyone else says Aes Sedai I always fight with honor. What punishment will you have me do?" Cayana dismissed the question she would come to that later. The girl had no manners, no tact and certainly no sense of respect for either her nor rules. "Where did you get those clothes? and did you use weapons?" This girl wouldn't be using either again, Cayana would make sure of that. The common punishments wouldn't work with this girl, but in any case she wondered how the girl had gotten either past the acceptation of the tower. Clothes were burned and personal items collected. Only the things that could not be gotten anew, when the training was finished, would be kept, the other things thrown away or given to others.

What would be a suitable punishment for a former warrior? What does a warrior take honor in and what would make them feel like they have lost that? The questions ran though Cayanas head as she waited for the girl to speak again. It didn't take long to get an answer.

Fianna - September 20, 2004 01:49 PM (GMT)
"Where did you get those clothes? and did you use weapons?" Fianna blinked again in surprise were Aes Sedai not very smart? She nodded her head at the Mistress "Yes Aes Sedai I used my own weapons. Gwen Sedai let me take them to the Master of Arms. She let me keep this pair of my clothes because I was wearing them when I came to the tower." She bowed her head again to the mistress she had to show respect to these wetlander women until she was free to go home. Even then she knew she would show respect to them it was the Aiel way. She still wondered why she wasn't being punished.

Cayana Alhi - September 20, 2004 07:10 PM (GMT)
((OOC: did Gwenhwyfar tell you it was alright that you wrote her into having done that? *just wondering* Since Cayana will call for her and talk to her about it if she did that... Don't want to send off a PM that will cause confusion.))

"She did what?" Why in the name of the light would this girl have been treated different. Cayana couldn't imagine. "In the future, don't refer to Aes Sedai without their full name around me. I will not tolerate it. Now go to your room and change, then return to me with those clothes. We will discuss your punishment when you have." No novice were allowed to keep their past in that way. Not even Aiel. This girl hadn't done much wrong if it was really true Gwenhwyfar had done that. If the girl was lying she would know the punishment for it soon enough.

The girl left and Cayana started writing on a few notes while waiting for the girl to get back. Gwenhwyfar would need a serious talking to. "I know I'm new at this job, but blood and bloody ashes if I am gonna let the novices run amok because an Aes Sedai can't keep to the rules." She grumbled to herself as she wrote the notes and sent them off with an other novice to fetch Gwenhwyfar.

When Fianna finally returned Cayana rose and walked around the desk. "Put your clothes on the floor, they will be burned the way they should have been when you arrived here. You will find that your weapons will be confiscated by the tower, your days as Aiel is no longer and you have no reason to have them. All novices cast away rank and titles when they come to study here. I thought that had been made clear to you, but obviously it was not. That you were not allowed to fight with the Asha'man in the practice yard how ever is something you most likely knew though, did you not?" Cayana arched an eyebrow waiting for the girls response.

Fianna - September 20, 2004 11:40 PM (GMT)
OOC: Yes she knows

"That you were not allowed to fight with the Asha'man in the practice yard how ever is something you most likely knew though, did you not?" Fianna sighed and answered

"Yes Aes Sedai I knew that. I could not help it. I needed to feel the spear in my hand I did not know the man I was fighting was an Asha'man. Gwen Sedai told me to call her that Aes Sedai. I will use her full name from now on if you wish it I only used her nickname because she prefers it."

Gwenhwyfar - September 21, 2004 01:48 PM (GMT)
Gwen got a letter from a honeyed hair novice. Reading the note Gwen looked up and said that she would deliver her note back to Cayana Sedai. She knew well what she was going to talk about and for today it did not bother her. Not one bit. She had other things on her mind and to deal with a Novice was not one of them. Sighing to herself Gwen got up from her desk and made her way down to the Novice quarters. Giving a little knock on the door Gwen walked in with her Yellow fringed shawl. It was true that she didn’t have to wear it around the tower, but she took huge pride in having it and would wear it around whenever she had left her quarters.

Before Cayana Sedai had a chance to talk Gwen did fist.
“I know what you are going to say. I told her to take them to the mistress of Arms, and she would leave them there.” She looked over at Fianna not a glare but she knew the girl was at least that smart to leave her weapons there. Aiel or not.
“And her cloths. I said she can keep one pair, not to wear, but these things happen.” Gwen was calm in most ways Though she could tell that Cayana was unhappy with her answer’s.

Gwen was done what she was saying and waited for what Cayana had to say. Though she was new she was a very good Mistress of Novices. She would not let people run a much around her grounds when she was in charge and that was what they needed. Though it didn’t help when Gwen had said that the young Aeil was able to keep her cloths.

Cayana Alhi - September 26, 2004 08:20 PM (GMT)
(OOC: ok I reread this, and the entire rp is a little mixed up, I'll try to make it a little more sorted with this post, hopefully I'll succeed...)

"Yes Aes Sedai I knew that. I could not help it. I needed to feel the spear in my hand I did not know the man I was fighting was an Asha'man. Gwen Sedai told me to call her that Aes Sedai. I will use her full name from now on if you wish it I only used her nickname because she prefers it." Fianna said and Cayana eyed the novice. "While in the tower no matter how much you long home to your people, you are not with them. You are here to learn the use of the one power, not to fight. The training yard is there for those who learn to fight. What you call Gwenhwyfar in private is between the two of you, but around other people you will show respect worthy of any Aes Sedai, have I made myself clear?" She was staring down at the novice, inside she was annoyed but outside she only showed the serenity she usually do. Then the door opened.

The yellow Aes Sedai strode in and stood next to the novice and before Cayana had time to even say hello Gwenhwyfar spoke. “I know what you are going to say. I told her to take them to the mistress of Arms, and she would leave them there. And her cloths. I said she can keep one pair, not to wear, but these things happen.” Cayana rose and eyebrow and answered quite cooly. "That is why they aren't allowed to keep them." She let a moment pass in silence before turning to Fianna again. "For the next month you will be helping out washing cloths every afternoon for three hours." Just that little thing wasn't much in itself, but with classes and the normal chores it was a strain. The girl already had extra kitchen chores this month. "Your punishment is lessened because of what Gwenhwyfar lead you to believe was allowed. Now leave, they will be needing you in the laundry room."

Cayana waited for the novice to leave before addressing Gwenhwyfar again. "Of all people to keep rules around novices I though an Aes Sedai would." Cayana couldn't help but to feel angry. "Do you believe that you did the right thing? No Novice is allowed special treatment, still you allowed it for Fianna, why?" She really wanted an explanation now. Why in the name of the light would one novice be allowed to keep her clothes when no one else was? To use weapons when other novices got sent to do extra chores when found at the training yard just watching. It just didn't seem reasonable.

Fianna - September 27, 2004 03:35 PM (GMT)
OOC: Where do you want me to post my punishment and how many posts do you want it? :) Is this a good post :)

"While in the tower no matter how much you long home to your people, you are not with them. You are here to learn the use of the one power, not to fight. The training yard is there for those who learn to fight. What you call Gwenhwyfar in private is between the two of you, but around other people you will show respect worthy of any Aes Sedai, have I made myself clear?" Fianna nodded her head. She knew of course that she was here to learn the power. She had not as yet met her mentor though and so her use of the power was not very much. She really wished the White sister would get a move on and show her how to use the power. That however was not what she should be thinking on. She was supossed to be feeling some kind of remorse for what she had done wasn't she? She thought over everything and found that if she was given the chance she would go to the grounds again. She felt that to do so again soon would be folly though. She should wait until she was Aes Sedai or Accepted if she ever made it that far. She had gotten into trouble now twice in as many days and she knew she would have to be really good and not get sent again in order to make the Accepted test. As Gwen came into the room she heard herself be defended by the Yellow sister and she knew she liked the Yellow. Maybe she should be Yellow. She then had to smile to herself she could not be a yellow even to keep a friend.

"For the next month you will be helping out washing cloths every afternoon for three hours." Fianna jerked her attention back to the Mistress and answered

"Yes Aes Sedai." She curtsyed and thought the punishment rather light she would be done with the laundry in a flash she was sure of that. Washing clothes couldn't be that hard. She walked from the room after again bowing to both the Aes Sedai and then made her way down to her room. She would need to get a parchment for her next class which she was now late for. She prayed she wouldn't be sent again to the Mistress again to the Mistress would not look good for her.

Gwenhwyfar - October 3, 2004 05:21 PM (GMT)
Gwen waited calmly as Cayana asked her why she did what she did. Did she not understand what she had said to begin with or was it just her?
Once Cayana was done Gwen looked at her and smiled.

"For one I said that she must take those weapons to the Mistress of Arms, if not they would be taken from her. Two you are allowed to keep something dear when comming to the tower, her weapons safe with the mistress of arms why not take her cloths. You are to keep something with you just so long as it does not keep your from you study. Fianna is no different from any other Child here. you know that as long as I do. Stubren yes but she will work that out, and if not that is to bad for her." Gwen was done what she had to say and had many things that she needed to get down before she went back to her quaters.

"Now Cayana if you do not have anything else to ask I have many things that I must be getting done. Take care and my the light shine on you"

Gwen was not sure were that last part came but she had been doing it since she was a novice when she fist steped into the grounds.
though it had bugged most people she still conutied to say it.
giving her self a little shrug she left the Mistress Of Novice office and went back to her own room.
