We'll start with the easy one:
Rialt and I have decided that we'd love to have RPing in chat. This means that simple threads with a meeting in the grounds or some such could be RPd quicker, and would hopefully keep them from becoming tedious or boring. We all know how difficult it is to write a real post when all you want to do is a simple action or a reply to a question. So, we're going to create an IRC channel for RP, open to use by everyone. This is not meant to replace posting, just to supplement it. Unfortunately, at this point I don't know how to do that, so if anyone is willing to help, that would be wonderful.
Since we're implimenting a chat room, we've also decided that you don't have to use the chat. If you'd rather use your own Instant Messager (Y!IM, AIM, MSN etc) that's completely fine.
All I ask is that once you've finished an RP in chat or IM, please post the log in the corresponding forum, so that others can enjoy it as well. :)

Next up:
We've decided that we need to make sure our members are active, specifically our Moderators and Administrators. For this reason, Rialt and I have had a look at our mod team, and determined that we don't want inactive people in those positions anymore. So, the following is a list of members who have been removed from their positions, they are now all regular ranked Asha'man, Aes Sedai or Gaidin. If in the future any of them wish to return, they may take that up with Rialt and I:

Kiren Thym- Haran al'Tari
Dalaine Telaisien- Head of the Blue Ajah
Kathera Galwyn- Head of the Brown Ajah
Laridian Maeronen- Rei al'Dieb Cha
Valarian al'Dera- Rei al'Aman Val

This means that there are many open positions right now, both those listed above, and the ones that were empty before. Rather than try to fill them with people we're not sure about, we've decided to make them NPC's. This means that there will be no specific person playing them, and you can write them into your posts without asking permission.


Also, the term "moderator" is going to be redefined. We'll still have board mods, yes, but that won't mean automatic permission into the Mod & Admin forum. Instead, we're going to choose members we think are active, responsible, and plotsy enough to help us with running the site and keeping things active, as well as to give their input on decisions we make. This will no longer be a SM-only job, since there are active, responsible, brilliant JMs with opinions of their own. Rialt and I have already chosen a few people for this, I'll be sending them a PM to let them know in a few minutes. When I'm sure of who will be willing to accept, I'll post the list.
