A quick overview of personality: Niconia is an outgoing person who loves to flirt and have fun. She seeks adventure in her life and hates being in one place to long or to be controlled by others. She is positive in life, though stubborn. One of her flaws is her inability to understand strong emotions. Love like the love between lovers is something she is incapable of understanding. The only thing she believes hard in when it comes to relationships is loyalty. Become friends with Niconia and she has your back no matter what unless you change the relationship.

History:
Niconia was born to a Tarabonian couple along with her twin sister, Ina. However soon after their birth the two were kidnapped. Niconia knows nothing of this, all though she suspects being either Tarabonian or Andoran in blood due to her appearance. All she knows is how she came to the Gwydion family and her life since.
It was a stormy night in the spring when a traveller passed by the village of Amaseria in the country of Altara. With him he carried a basket which was covered with a blanket. The rain was pouring down and thunder had been roaring for half an hour when he happened upon the village, seeking refuge he pulled in at one of the houses that seemed somewhat better off and knocked on the door. It was opened by Endir Gwydion, even though the house wasn't his but his mother. He along with his wife and his three year old twin sons had gotten caught there by the storm as they had gone to visit.
The stranger asked for room for him until the storm moved on or until the morning, which ever came first and Endir invited him in to talk to his old mother. The woman, seeing the stranger and his strange pack gave him his consent but later that evening she came to the mans room and knocked on the door before entering. Catching the man off guard she came to see what she had wished. The contains of the basket laying upon the blanket on the table, softly whining as the man tried to feed her with some of the milk from his mug. It was proving difficult and the child was clearly already weak from hunger, but so far she was alive. It didn't take much fuss for Jisa to get the man to accept help with the child. Taking care of the child during the night, feeding it and keeping it warm Jisa saved the little girls life. Jisa had intended on questioning the man the next morning, but before sunup he had left and left the little girl behind. The family decided that Endir and his wife would take the girl in and raise her as their own. She was given the name Niconia Mye and the family last name Gwydion.
Niconia grew up happily. She suffered more illnesses then most children due to having been raised on sheep milk, but still she was stronger then expected and adventurous before she could stand. Her adoptive brothers were jealous of the child at first, being so young and getting less attention then they were used to. But as they were two their twin bond only grew stronger and they became each others best friends, somewhat leaving Niconia outside, though they accepted her as being part of their family. Throughout her childhood and even to this day Niconia admired that bond the two had and wondered what it was like. To have someone not only so close to you, but who were in fact your own mirror image.
Growing older Niconia found her own friends, the closest of who were Iovon Tisid, Keline Nanio, Aidin and Crendira Yiro. The two latter siblings set apart by two years, Aidin being the oldest. Tisid were the Gwydions closest neighbours and Niconia got to know Iovon when she was less then a year old. The other three were all part of the village of which she first met Keline who was the youngest of the Nanios which lived next door to Niconias grandmother, Jisa. Aidin and Crendira Niconia first met when she was five, the three of them hit it off fast though, even though Aidin was two years older then her.
Her childhood years was spent pretty much idyllically. With household education of how to run the farm and business, reading story books at her grandmothers, or seeking adventures with her friends in the forrest. Her favorite activities included hunting, hide and seek and mock fighting with the boys. Crendira and Keline were all to girly to do the latter of the three.
As the group hit the teen years things started to change. Crendira and Keline more and more tired to get Niconia interested in flirting with the boys rather then just playing, the boys started to tease the girls more, and Iovon even got himself a girlfriend, Osannae. Niconia did start to open an eye towards the boys, but her heart still laid with adventures rather then relationships. As her brother Dived got married to a woman called Eirana shortly after Niconias 15th naming day she thought that she needed more then the village and along with Iovon, who had gotten sick of Osannaes nagging about getting married too, and Aidin she headed to the nearest town where the three sought to get recruited into an army.
At Ebou Dar Iovon was accepted into the royal guard, but Aidin, not willing to leave Niconia behind turned down the offer. Instead the two managed to get a job as bouncers at a tavern after a display of how best to get drunkards off of your case one evening at the very place. Niconia might not have inflicted an overly amount of respect at first sight by newcomers. Most just thought she was a maid in a strange outfit, but regulers learned fast not to offend her, and strangers she dealt with in a none fighting matter when ever she could. Aidin was always there to back her up, a loyal and trusting friend who Niconia had no idea had somewhat of a soft spot for her.
Two years went by and the two were getting along pretty great with their new lives even though Niconia wished to see more of the world. Every night she talked to Aidin about how much fun it would be to see more of the world and one day he had gotten a little to fed up with the dream talking. That evening Aidin had located a young noble woman who was in need of an escort. She was headed for Tar Valon where she was to get tested. They discussed the matters that night over a glass of wine and a few days later they had all said goodbye to Ebou Dar and were on their way north.
The trip was less then adventurous most of the time. Far to dull for Niconias liking, so one evening on their way though Andor they stopped at an innocent looking village inn. Thinking it wouldn't be any harm the noble woman gave her two guards leave for the evening to have some fun while she herself went early to bed for a nice sleep in a nice bed. The two youngsters got a bit drunk and as they went back up to their room, which they still chared, Aidin suddenly confessed his love to Niconia. Standing just inside the door Niconia stared at the mans face as he said. "You know I love you Nico. And I mean it, not as a friend. I love you." Laughing a little she answered. "You have had one to many beers my friend. Don't make me get a bucket of water to sober you up." She was poking fun at him but the man became dead serious as he closed the door behind him. "No, Nico. It's not that I'm drunk." He grabbed her and pulled her close, kissing her before she had time to react and for a moment she stood motionless, feeling his lips against hers. Then she pulled herself back, stumbling over the corner of the bed, sitting down on it hard. "I have loved you for so long Nico, but I have always been afraid to tell you. The way you treat men and tease everyone, it is obvious you don't feel the same and never have towards anyone. But I had to tell you. I can't keep it inside anymore." Niconia still just stared at the man as he spoke. Then shook her head. "Did I just pass out or did you just really tell me you were in love with me?" Aidin just looked back at her, blushing, and still facing her disbelief with a slight pain displayed by the tightness of his jaws. "Why now of all times? Why now when you know where we are going? We have less then half way to go to reach Tar Valon, why are you telling me this now?" Aidin sat down on his own bed, taking Niconias hands in his own. "Because... the closer we get the more I realize I don't want this anymore. And I know that what I want is something you can't give me." Niconia looked back at him, staring into his dark brown eyes. "What is it you want Ai?" Aidin looked down at her hands as he stroked the back of them with his left hand and held them with his right. "I want you. I want to... marry you..." Blinking Niconia rose a hand to push his chin up forcing him to look at her. His lips were curved in a small smile, even though his face was still serious. "You know I'm drunk and that I don't put words in all the right places when ever I am. But Ai, I wouldn't marry anyone. People speak of this undying feeling, this love. But I don't feel it, I never have and as far as I know I never will. I'm no prude, but still, I will never get head over heels with a man and you know it." Aidin nodded once again looking at her hands, he had just said that. "I'm sorry, that you feel this way Aidin... But really what are we going to do about it? You can't run around me mooning over me for ever now can you? None of us would be happy with that." He looked up at her shortly, then nodded again. "There is only one thing isn't there. I end up leaving, once we reach Tar Valon." Silence laid itself around the two as a thick blanket, but suddenly Aidin reached out and grabbed Niconias neck, pulling her close in yet an other kiss. For a moment she froze, then she couldn't help herself from kissing back, but she pulled herself free once more. "I might be drunk but I know this will only lead to even worse things." She told him, half with a tingle of adventure in her voice. Aidin though only nodded and said. "I had to be sure."
The rest of the trip became much different, though not for the better. After the night Aidin had started to sleep in his own room when ever they were at an inn and they became more and more professional about their relationship. Once they reached Tar Valon Aidin told Niconia she could escort the noble woman the rest of the way. He was no longer needed. With sadness Niconia watched her childhood friend leave, the last of those she had kept in contact with the way they had. But she wanted more of life then the life of a wife. Aidin knew that as well as she did and so, with pride she escorted the noble woman into the Tower grounds, where the woman would request to be tested. Standing there waiting, looking around to make sure the woman was safe an Accepted came up to them. The noble speaking the way nobles does she told the white clad woman her business and the two were shown the way to a room in one of all the dwindeling hallways. Here an Aes Sedai admitted the noble woman but as Niconia bowed to leave the room and take her station outside the Aes Sedai called out to her. "Wait, miss. Aren't you here to be tested?" Niconia looked at the Aes Sedai with a surpriced look on her face. "No, Aes Sedai. Once my job is done I wish only to join the recruits. I wish to become a Gaidin, Aes Sedai." Barely daring to speak she still was honest enough to state her intentions. But the Aes Sedai rose from her chair. "I see, please though, stay inside. You will do Lady Asheri no good outside the door anyway." Thinking nothing of it Niconia agreed and stood to the side of the room as the noble woman underwent her testing. The Aes Sedai shot a glance at Niconia every once and a while at which Niconia only offered a slightly nervous smile. Once the testing was done the Aes Sedai stated clearly. "You passed the test. Both of you." The Lady Asheri was none to pleased to hear that, nor was Niconia once she wrapped her head around what the woman had said. But at that point they were both given their first lecture and both Niconia and the Lady Asheris names found their ways into the novice book.
i like it, and i certainly look forward to the rp where she is reunited with her sister.
