Title: Escape (From Tower Grounds)
Description: Hanajima

Kira Aracy - January 4, 2007 07:39 PM (GMT)
Kira Aracy waited until her roommate began to snore. She had taken the first month at the tower to learn the movements of Novices, Accepted and the Sisters. She learnt how the place worked and the routines. She had come to the conclusion that the best time to sneak away was during the late evening. She would then be able to scale the wall of the tower grounds just before the first change of guards in the early morning. That was of course her only chance she had.

She had never intended to stay at the tower. She hated the Sisters. They were responsible for the death of her family. She had been forced to come to the tower and she didn't like people telling her what to do. She would leave and by the time they realise she was gone she would be too far away for them to catch her.

She didn't have much to take with her, her clothes had been burnt and all she had now was the novice's dress. She would have to take that with her. She didn't think walking through the city naked would work, even for her - but she was still apprehensive of taking anything from the tower. Other than the dress she had a small pack with food that she had accumillated over time. That was the sum of her possessions.

She opened the door than led into the novice's hallway and crindged when it made a noise. She looked around nervously. No one had noticed. She sighed with relief and slipped out into the hallway. She made a slow progression to the main corridor and then slipped out into the garden. She kept to the trees and then at the far end she hugged the wall with her back. A few times she had to pause as Sister's walked by.

Examining her situation she thought she was in the clear. All she needed to do now was get past the guard tower.

She stopped as she heard the crunch of leaves. Her heart sank, one word resounded in her head ... busted.

Hanajima was late-majorly. Her timing had been horrible. Hana had just come from her room after a lesson with one of the Aes Sedai. Ever night since arriving at the Tower Hana had been going to the gardens and writing in a black book that she had brought with her.

Hanajima’s book was very special to her, she rarely ever left it. The book was given to her by Arwen, the person who saved her from her family. She had written everything she could remember about that night. It was something Hanajima never wanted to forget. That was the past though, and now it was time for Hana to focus on where she was going.

The path was woven into Hana’s memory, it had become part of her daily routine-Why shouldn’t it. By this time there was no need for Hana to look where she was going, she knew the way. But she did anyway. Hana didn’t want to run into anyone-especially an Aes Sedai.

The beauty of the garden always put Hana in an amazed position, she loved it. The flower in bloom, the tree’s green and when there wind-gently swaying in it. It was a delightful sight. Hana couldn’t wait till it was winter; the snow would be an amazing addition.

Hana was rounding one of the many corners, but it was different this time. In the middle of the small clearing stood a girl. She was medium height, with long black hair. She must be a Novice Hana thought, but though seemly came to fact as the girl was wearing a white novice dress. “Um… Hi?” Hana said. It was very unusual for anyone to be out at this time.

Kira nearly jumped out of her shoes ... or slippers in this case. She stared back at what seemed to be another novice. She had been caught out and there was no way around it. Instead of slipping out quietly and unnoticed she had burned her chances in escaping.

"It might be better if you turn around and pretend you didn't see me," Kira said quietly. That was enough to give enough information that she was intending to run. She glanced up to the sky. It was getting close to changing of the guards, she had better get moving if she was about to make it. "It will be safer for both of us if you just keep quiet."

Kira started to slip away, eager to get away - the novice would likely give her position away. But Kira intended to be long gone before any Aes Sedai could get hold of her.

The other novice seemed startled at Hana's words. Well I guess I did just come up behind her Hana thought. It all still seemed strange though. Then the novice spoke. "It might be better if you turn around and pretend you didn't see me. It will be safer for both of us if you just keep quiet."

What? Was the novice planning to run away? It was a good reason for what she had said. Running away was never the answer though. Hana didn't know this from personal experiences, but logic only made it seem that way. Taking another step forward Hana opened her mouth, but nothing came out. I really need to think before I try and speak she thought, gathering other thoughts and putting them into words. "This won't solve anything." She said guessing the other novice would know what she ment. She may not be able to stop the novice from running away but she could sure try and convince her to change her mind.
((OOC: Sorry, it's kind of short.)
