A quick overview of personality:

Lasaye rarely voices her thoughts unless she gets emotional enough about them or when it involves her closest companions. Her beliefs never falter, even if she doesn’t always jump up to defend them. Her passion, she shows in other matters, though it can ultimately become a blind passion that can bring her to make mistakes. She will occcasionaly lock away her emotions as to not let anyone worry about her. The thoughts of someone caring about her scares her deeply.

When in the act of arguments she usually stops to listen to the thoughts and or points that her counterpart is expressing. She will argue and argue to get her way, yet sometimes when her arguing gets nowhere she will fall victim to the other's ideas. She doesnt mind losing an argument though. Her thoughts are that everyone loses once in awhile. Plus she would be able to try again to prove their theories wrong.

Gaidin Path:
Specializes in the art of Archery..

History:

Lasaye was born into the common shepard's life. She was the middle child of three. Her brother Grion was the type of kid who would run off and play instead of helping his father plow and take care of the sheep they were growing. Her younger brother at the time was plenty to young to work outside and he was basically the "favorite" of her mother. Always stuck helping her father, Lasaye never had the time to roam about and fool with the other young girls in the village. But she didnt mind. Lasaye loved tending to the flock and getting away from the house. She would rather be in the feild than in the small house they owned.

As she grew older she was beginning to lean towards Daddy's little girl than the middle child. Her father grew to love her more then the other member's of the family. Lasaye didnt know whether it was the hard work she did to help him or just because she was the only daugher. Whatever the reason she loved he old man dearly. As her elder brother turned 18 and found the woman he loved. Lasaye realised that maybe life would change after he married. She grew to love the girl of which Grion loved. Their bond and "sisters" grew tighter with every day shared together. Though she wished to spend more time with her new sister, she couldn't be torn from the flock that she loved. The flock always came first.

At the age of 15 Lasaye became the type of girl any mother would wish for. The type to sew and cook in the kitchen. These dastardly tasks annoyed Lasaye but she wasnt the one to argue with her retch of a mother. She kept her cool at times and would do the chores given to her. Her mother's words always echoeing in her ears. "A lady's job isnt to be a maiden who tends to sheep. But a maiden who tends to her husbands and families life." She tried her best to satisfy her mother but her father's needs would keep reaching her as well. He needed her more than her little brother who was more annoying and troublesome than helpfull.

Then one day her father came to her small bed in the shared room upstairs while she was half-asleep. He woke her up as quietly as he could and handed her a book. The small book with it's bindings falling apart puzzled Lasaye. She couldnt read. Her parents never taught her. She asked why he was giving this to her and he replied with a simple.

"Do you wish to learn to read or not?"

She smiled and nodded a yes. Her father smiled back and opened the book..Throughout the next few months Lasaye was cooking, helping her mother, and secretly taking reading lessons from her father. Her life was at the most it could be. Everything she wanted. Well, until the day her father died. He became sick sufffering from Pnuemonia in th harsh winter they had. He died a few weeks before Lasayea 16th birthday. Saddened Lasaye became distant. At least until her mother yelled at her for not doing any work. So she worked, but didnt speak. She wouldnt even touch the book her Father left her.

Then when she turned 17 her mother surprised her. She brought a young man around her age to the door. His name was none other than Jasan Kilhaier. Sitting across from him Lasaye was dazed by what her mother was saying. The two of them were to be married at the end of the month. Both her mother and his mother arranged it. So her life was set in stone. She would marry this man and stand through everything with him. She couldnt believe it. Sure enough Lasaye and Jasan were married under the spring blossomed trees in the village. She never thought that she would go through with it but she did.

As her life changed drastically from helpng her mother feed her family to helping Jasan tend to the wheat feild they now owned and feeding the two of them, Lasaye sorely missed her father. She loved Jasan dearly through the past two years. She had grown accustomed to his scraggly self which actaully astounded her everyday. It wasn't till one night though when she lay next to him in bed that she realised that maybe her life was meant for something more.

She slid out of bed, carefull not to wake her beloved, and walked to the small chest in the storage shed. She rummaged through it and found that little book that reminded her dearly of her father. Opening it she flipped through the pages each word and chapter bringing tears to her eyes. Then she found a small parchment. The parchment now in her hands she set the book down and began to read it.

Dear Lasaye, My little girl,
If truly you have found this note hidden among the little pages than I have deserte you for something else. I'm sory to leave you in a hurry little one but there are things that couldnt be undone. I know how much you and your mother loathe each other dearly but You two must settle your differnces and help each other out.

That or the life you welcome with open arms may fall to the shadow. There are things that'll rise to meet you Darling. Wonderfull things....and Horrible things. Though I know each stone you throw will collide with the best intrest and love of mine.

I want to leave you with this one thing though lass. My love for you isnt as great as a dream I once had. I told you once of the white tower in Tar Valon. The one with people you would only dream about. A place filled with magic and loyalty. Well, I always wanted to go there. But, now as I right this I realise that my dream actually ended with you being born. Yes, becoming a Warder to a channeler would have been great bu raising you to the ady I know was better.

I want you to know that If life here at home ever eludes your love and lust. Then Tar Valon will welcome you as a daughter. Take your dream of being different and my dream and make them come true lass. And as this old man's hand becomes tired of writing I wish you the best of my love and luck. May the stars shine on you and the Light bless you love.

- Your Father....

The words and letter of her father clutched in her hands as she cried. She never knew that he wanted her to leave. She looked up at the small house and frowned. To live a life of commonry with Jasan, her lover. Or to live a life in which she could re-define herself? She would have to decide. The wit of hers said to stay and be who she was now. But her heart told her that Jasan would understand and he would let her go.

She smiled and packed her things. Then kissed the sleeping form of her husband and layed the small wedding band at the side dresser. How to say goodbye when she wasn't able to write. That would have to do. So after she was ready she walked out the door her mind and feet set on arriving to Tar Valon to live once again.

Hope the history was alright.

Love it, that's a great story, I can't wait to see how Lasaye develops! :D The only thing that's missing is a nationality, add that and consider it approved. :)

I'm so glad you liked it. I was typing it for four hours straight trying to figure out the little things that would make who she is..
