Well, I'm having major virus problems. Plus, I've managed to screw up McAfee settings while trying to get rid of my undeletable, uncleanable, and unquarintineable virus, so it's even harder. I won't be able to get on very often at all (it took me around an hour to get onto the internet), so I'm afraid I'll be taking a LOA. I don't know when I'll be able to fix my virus problems, so its unfortunatly going to be an indefinate one.

My 'technical advisor' is on a trip at the moment, so there won't be any help on that front, and I'm no McAfee expert (how I've managed to screw up my cookies is testimony to that), so it will probably take longer than usual to fix.

So, on the more optimistic side- do any of you know how to get rid of a virus that won't be deleted, cleaned, or quarantined on McAfee virus scan? If I remember correctly, it's some sort of memory virus (don't trust me on that one). Since some of you are probably pretty good with virus stuff, I'd love it if you could give me a bit of advice on that front.

I'm pretty sure I know how to fix the McAfee problem, but because of the virus, I can't get the McAfee control center thing up. (A window pops up telling me that the mistake has been filled in some McAfee file). So, if any of you know how to get around that, I'd appreciate that advice as well.

I had a virus like that once, but I am no computer expert, so I have no idea if its the same one and even if so I can still offer no advice! :(

I'm back! Well, sort of.

The virus left a major dent on my computer, considering it's crazy slow now and takes forever to do anything. I'm not sure if the virus is completely gone, actually. But it sort of works! :lol:
