Name: Vaeira Beridaor (Born as Vaeira din Daeria Dawn Reef)
Age: 20
Nationality: Athan'Meire (( approved by mother))
Height: 5"3'
Weight: 123 lbs
Hair color/length: black that flows to her mid back

Personality: She truly does want to be friends with everyone especially since the only ones she had as a child were other deckhands. Her thoughts on the Aes Sedai are quite indecisive, She doesn’t know exactly if she trusts their members fully and trusts their ideals yet she is training to become one. Her feelings towards the White Tower and it's members changes drastically with every event that happens. She dwells mainly on the reason that she is at the White Tower and mainly wishes to be back and serving he life on the Dusk's Mist. She really wishes to see her elder sister and ask her elders for another chance to become the next Windfinder for her beloved ship. She always has the thirst to prove herself to all the land's men and women.
Appearnce: Vaeira mainly looks much like her father, which goes to her eyes and semi-muscular build. More of her father's qualities that are shown by appearance is the tannish skin she bears. Her feet and palms have calluses from the work as a child upon the Dusk's Mist when she was a young deck girl who helped with the small tedious tasks. Her eyes, like her father's, are a deep brown that turns lighter with the light. Vaeira has long thick brown hair which she inherited from her mother. Her hair is either usually pulled back in a tail or is hung loose past her shoulder and to her thigh. Her hand tattoos are of a six-pointed blue star on the web between the thumb and forefinger of her right hand and two green stars and a hovering dove on her left. The dove showing her clan's brand and the two green stars show her family line. Her earrings are as follows: She wears one silver ring on her right ear(which is her deck girl’s earring) and three gold rings on her left. (which is the rank of the Windfinder which she is training for.)

History:
Vaeira was born upon the land two days before her clan’s ships had set sail for another trade route. Her mother and father still brought her on the ship so their girl would not grow up accustomed to the land customs. So Vaeira grew up upon the Dusk’s Mist, her first few years as a young child still not able to lend a helping hand. Her sister kept a close bond with her even after their mother and father left for a small trade mission. As Vaeira grew older and was able to help out with the other members of the crew she learned the tedious tasks around her, but soon many realized the persistence within her to prove herself. She continued to help around the deck, helping the transfer of goods to the land and different ships.
Though it wasn’t till one calm day out at sea that her life changed. She hasn’t quite forgotten the moment but doesn’t hold in in real high regard to other memories. That calm day ,at the age of 15, she was out on the deck helping transfer barrels from the deck to the hold down below. She was lifting a particularly large crate and heading down the stairs she stumbled, scared to death she cried out and prayed to not be hurt too badly. There in that small hold she found something that feared her yet grasped her sense of profound joy. As she prayed to not get hurt her mind instantly thought of a way out, she grasped her thoughts about her and let it go. The air became what seemed so solid and Vae pressed her hands against it, supporting herself. Regaining her balance Vae smiled and the “barrier” disappeared. She looked around quickly to see if anyone had noticed and her eyes locked with the Windfiner Talishina. She frowned and the other woman smiled, gave a nod and walked off. Stunned Vaeira returned to her duties.
The next few days were painstakingly horrid. She had gotten in trouble with breaking the crate when she dropped it yes, but that wasn’t ailing her in any way. Every now and then she would catch the eyes of Talishina and once more she would nod knowingly. It irked her, on how she wouldn’t explain to her what happened that day in the hold. So she went through her duties doing her best not to think on it. Then one night while laying in her bunk Talishina came for her. She woke her up in the night and brought her into the Wavemistress’s quarters. There in front of the Cargo master, Windfinder, and the Wavemistress she heard her adventure coming from the mouth of Talishina. She stared blankly at the wooden boards on the floor waiting for what was to come next. She thought she was to be punished more for not telling yet what came next thrilled her. The Wavemistress pardoned her secret and then passed her to Talishina for training to be a Windfinder’s apprentice. She had a real life now is what it seemed.
The next few years she trained under Talishina to both recognize the channelers, control her own weaves enough to guide ships and over all not to let it get the best of her. Though Talishina seemed the harsh woman, Vaeira loved her teaching greatly. Though just helping alongside her sister seemed like it would no longer happen.
Around three years after she found out about the channeling power she had, the Dusk’s Mist took port at Falme. Transfering goods and experiencing the customs was to be the life of the next few weeks. Talishina called off the training while they were there and left Vaeira to wander the streets to take in all she could. As she got back to the ship she was called to Talishina who was standing outside the door to the Wavemistress’s room. Vaeira greeted her and froze at the somber and angered face on the elder womans face. Talishina ushered her into the room and Vaeira did what she was told. Within the room it appeared that an argument had commenced and the Wavemistress’s eyes where hard. Vaeira shifted her gaze to the other two figures in the room and noticed them fully. Both women seemed rather uptight and apparently concealed their emotions well, or was winning whatever argument had ensued. She looked at the shorter of the two women. Short-statured, and plump with a hardened face and even harder eyes the woman had a look about her and Vaeira turned to the other woman. This woman was somewhat taller and seemed to be at least mildly tempered about everything. Reminding Vaeira of a crew hand put in charge then lost control. Yet, Vaeira couldn’t place their ages to either of them. She turned from them when Talishina spoke somberly. Her eyes with a sadness that none could describe, Talishina was the epitome of fear for Vaeira. Whatever Talishina had been angry about and made her sad it had to do with her. Talishina introduced the two woman as Gretchen and Marlee, two Aes Sedai from Tar Valon. She went on to explain that they were taking women who could channel once again. Vaeira frowned and looked away, once again drifting her eyes to the floorboards like she had so many years ago. They explained to her that she would be going with them to the white Tower to train to become and Aes Sedai, and if she failed there then she would be allowed back. It stunned her, she was going as some sort of collateral, that way these Aes Sedai would stop trying to “recruit” women from other Athan’Meire ships. So Vaeira nodded at the order and left to collect her belongings. She sought comfort in her sister’s arms letting the tears fall in a silent burst of anger and sadness. As she began to head towards the dock she ran into Talishina whom embraced her and gave her the words of advice that lives with her. “Keep your head up my Child. No one can bend you to their will as long as your head is up and your eyes are focused on which way you go. They may make you seem inferior yet, your heart is pure and your life untainted like theirs. Live up to your fullest potential and you’ll come back to us as a better woman.”
Embracing each other once more Vaeira left the woman and made her way to the dock where the Aes Sedai where waiting. They began their journey and through the lands Vaeira began to realise that her life was drastically racing ahead of her and she would have to fight to keep pace with it. The journey was a misxture of lessons on culture, not taught to her, and listening to the griping from her companions about her particular stumbles. “wilder” is the main thing she doesn’t understand. They had told her the meaning and called her one but she was confused about it. If wilders could channel without training and she was able to channel by being taught to majority of the time then how was she a “wilder”. She dwelled upon that and the culture around her until they reached the tower and Marlee had her brought to the Mistress of Novices office to be written into the books. Vaeira soon learned that as the journey ended she had a more profound resolve to prove the Aes Sedai that she could become one like them and not be a so called “wilder” and a lost cause amongst them. At least she wouldn’t go back to her people as a failure.

Unfortunatly yes I am Mother. I've had some really bad run ins in Real Life that needed caring of. Until they were taken care of I had to postpone everything for the majority of the sites I was on. I'll be on a lot more now that the things have been done. I'm terribly sorry for the delay.

It's perfectly understandable, I just wanted to make sure you hadn't forgotten. RL comes first. *hug*

If you could go back through and fix your repition of the word woman when she tells us about the Aes Sedai recruiters, I'll say approved.
She seems like she has a strong affiliation to the athan miere, so it'll be cool to see how she progresses. Remember when you want to become Accepted, that to do so is to be bound to the towers and to take an oath to leave behind your past. So character progression is going to have to be strong, I look forward to seeing it.
